Hey Adam, I read a lot of complains towards TSA for lost/stolen goods after inspection. You should fill a complain report. If nobody does anything, nothing will ever change. Think about it.
Ah Adam, you never fail to deliver a 40 minute + video for me to enjoy!
44 Minutes!? HELL YEAH
Congrats on 100k subs!
Damn man that sucks about the whole TSA thing. My guess on why they opened it is because it said "Biohazard" on it. :|
Ha, maybe. Some how I doubt it's really that stupid. But who knows.
Eh, yeah. We'll never really know. I do hope you eventually find a replacement one though. Also CONGRATS on the 100,000 subscribers man! I've been watching for a few years now and you definitely deserve it! Keep up the great work!
Congrats on your 100k subscribers, thx for all the good content for years.
👊💀👍
Congratulations on 100k! You deserve it! You keep going 👍🌀!
Dude! My stomach dropped for you when you said TSA lost your controller! >_
This video has really set me up for the day. Adam your knowledge and love for video games is fantastic. Cheers mate 😉👍
That was a DAMN GREAT pick ups video and also congrats on 100K man.
Great video as always my friend, repeat applause at those gorgeous pickups
Cool video for a the 100.000 subscriber celebration. The amount of rare stuff you showed in one video is mental.
Congrats on 100K Subscribers!
Now that is a mighty impressive haul, Adam!
Hey Adam, been a long time. Glad to see all is well. I see your channel has grown exponentially since the last time I was on here. Congrats on the success, and awesome collection.
Welcome back!
Haven't watch you in a couple of years but holy sh*t you sound much more interesting and have better videos than before, it's nice to see that things are going well in terms of quality! Cheers from Sweden!
Thanks for the great video, Adam. I look forward to my Osaka run, as well as a west Tokyo trip to the lesser-visited Hard-Offs.
I also came back from Japan with something like 20+ games which I bought in various Book Off :D I've been in Kyoto for 3 months in 2014, and the Book Off in Sanjo was basically my daily trip :D Some games were 100yen each, and they were in amazing condition.
Congrats on 100k! Those pickups are amazing especially the Dreamcasts and the Neo Geo CD!
Well done on the pickups!
Man, this vids awesome. So many gd things to hear!!!! :)
That’s what I call a good haul...Jesus, I need to get my ass to Japan asap, unbelievable stuff over there.
Congrats on 100K subs. Huge fan of your vids.
I cried seeing that Magic Knight Rayearth Game Gear. T.T Want that soooo bad.
I enjoy these Hard-Off/Book-Off videos. Keep on doing these videos!
Also congrats on getting the Neo-Geo Front Loader console working!
Do you have limits? Because you have none. I forgot: I remember being here since 73K subscribers, now 3 years later, here we are. Congratulations on reaching 100K!
Just noticed now Congrats on the 100k subs my good sir its very well deserved :D
I never get tired of hearing the Dreamcast start-up sound and collecting for the system.
Congrats on 100K! You deserve all of them
Adam I got two things to say, it's an amazing video, congratulations and was awesome to watch!
2nd...I'm actually possibly getting into the job of TSA, if I do, I vow to protect all gamers from this issue and protect items as precious as that controller!
You're a hero!
I think that is actually the official TSA vow. Or it should be
Update: I've got the job, and I'll be starting soon!
Warrior Blade was released first as Barbarian on the U.S. PS2. The U.S. GameCube version was cancelled. The game was released as Warrior Blade in Japan to make a connection to the Taito arcade classic starring Rastan, however Taito did not have anything to do with this game's development.
Congrats Adam! If any CZcamsr deserves 100k definitely you.
Japanese game box artwork is so much better than what we got in the west. Fantastic pickups 😁
These pickups make me wish I had a larger source of income, every time. Congrats on 100k Adam! Been here since 4k or 5k and I'm glad to see you grow so much throughout the time! I wish you the best on finding a replacement RE: Code Veronica Controller!
Awesome video. When I was married to my ex wife who was Japanese and from Osaka, I used to go to the outskirts where I was the only American there. When I went to these suburbs in Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, etc. I would find gems like this. However, there was never enough time or money.
I haven't been back in 8 years, but I hopeful to go back in the next year or two. I need to replace sooo much stuff.
Adam + trip to Japan = awesome video. Simple. Retro video game math
Spoiler: The last thing is seven more neogeo cds
TheLegendkiller2100 rear-loaders
Ahh amazing finds! Japan has been on my bucket list for awhile. Hopefully get to go end of this year or early next :)
looking for vids on videogame hunting in osaka and found your channel.subscribed!!✋
A VERY BIG CONGRATS FROM ONE SHENMUE MEGA FAN TO ANOTHER WE ALL ONE BIG FAMILY WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO SHENMUE.
CONGRATULATIONS MAN.
Mind is BLOWNNNN! Planning a trip next year.. definitely rewatching all the japanese pickup vids for preparation 😊 TSA.. yooouu mo..f *sigh*
Awesome pickups Adam! :-)
Congrats on the 100k man keep it up
Wow, you killed it! I have a couple of those tales of symphonia gamecube that need to be retrobrighted. I plan to do a video on it for my channel. I'll keep you posted on how it goes
Yes, please do.
This has to be one of your best japan pick ups! Great haul man! Sucks about the TSA losing the controller though, I wimpered after you said that :(
Imagine my pain when I realized that happened.
Congrats on 100k subs! You were stuck at 99.5k for weeks!
Yeah tell me about it.
"F@!#•Off" Lol has anyone else thought of that one. great pick ups dude! Looks like you had a blast.
Fantastic pickups Adam, wish I could visit Japan sometime in the future. Anything that's sought after is worth far less over there.
Ooh, another one! Neat!
Your best pick ups ever!!
You really like the games
Damn. *One Hundred Thousand* subscribers. Adam Hits the Big Time. You ought to make a video when you get your Silver Play Button.
Am I the only person that would love to see Adam's game room? All of this awesome stuff has to just be overflowing in your gameroom! Game room tour video someday maybe?
Only if it's my last video.
Makes sense. Great video though. You've been saying to stay tuned so I've been waiting eagerly to see this video. Thanks for all of your work in the midst of being so busy! Stay safe in your travels!
DAMN. That Sakura Taisen Dreamcast is beautiful.
Knowing Japanese helps playing the games, which I have the first 2 on the Saturn and are really good.
Wow Adam great pick ups. Normally I am not a jealous person but 2 neo geo CDs man I wish I had 1. That I am jealous of. Great video bud.
Hey dude. Congrats on 100k subscribers!!!!!
Console variations website has detailed information about different Dreamcast controllers
Also, that NeoGeo CD was a REALLY GOOD find! Nice to hear that both units work!
Congrats on the 100K Subs!!!
cool video adam
I love your videos Adam. Greetings from Belgium 🤙
Congrats on the Neo Geo CD!
Back in June I was able to visit Osaka and one day we were tired of all the Book-Off so we decided to go to a Hard-Off. 1.5 hour walk to the store from the closest train station, and we had already spent most of the day walking around. Instant regret hit us after walking for half an hour to the Hard-Off. Way worth it though; there was some amazing stuff there. All that aside, loved the video!
F to that controller.
1: I’m super jealous of the Sakura Wars DC, great pick up!
2: frickin tsa man, they “lost” my very expensive snowboarding goggles one time. Sucks about your “lost” DC controller man, I know this pain.
: Places hand to screen. :
Omfg, that is AMAZING dude! Really sorry to hear about that last story though x_x That fuckin suuuuuuucks > o
That controller story broke my heart. Ugh!
Fun Fact: Dobutsu No Mori is actually Animal Crossing. ;D
Congrats on 100k!
Felicidades por los 100k subs!!!
That Neo Geo CD find makes me super happy haha, great to know the front loader works too!
Real shame about that controller though. :(
By the way congrats hitting 100K. Just noticed it.
Still trying to get my 1st visit to Japan confirmed...my one regret before I got out of the military...grrr! Nice video!!
Nice neo geo CD pickups
This is probably the craziest video regarding rare finds from Japan. Definitely made for an interesting video that was fun to watch. Though hopefully you find a replacement controller someday.
Ha, really think so?
Yeah, Its very unlikely, plus they probably only made one per console, but you found that rare Dreamcast along with all the other great systems so not impossible. But yeah I get it, it may never be replaced due to its rarity. Perhaps just naively hopeful here that you re complete the set.
Actually I meant the former about being the craziest pickups video.
Ah, my bad. Well maybe not "the" craziest, but still cool to see your find two rare Japanese Dreamcasts for a good price and in box no less. That and the other consoles is what I'd say was impressive to me about this pickups video.
amazing pickups, love your channel, holey shit the price of that dreamcast console is mental on ebay uk !
The crazy cheap prices you mentioned would force me to open an extra line of credit...retro stuff such as Neo Geo is getting so pricey these days in North America...the same goes for Commodore collecting here in Canada/USA compared to being in Europe. Additionally, I hope viewers realize how much work/cost is involved in order to create a complete collection of games/ peripherals for most consoles...very cool video thanks.
Can't wait to visit Japan soon and go hunting.
There are a few BookOffs in Orange County, CA too.
Woah the bass drop at the beginning was surpising but i like it.
FYI Doubitsu no Mori is Animal Crossing if you weren’t aware. Congrats on 100k subs and awesome content as always Adam!
Hey Adam, this is Luis B from your patreon. Congrats on hitting 100K subscribers! I'll buy that Samurai Spirits RPG double if you want since I live in Chicago, too, haha! Cheers!
P.S.: You were dropping bombshells in this video like it was Sony E3 2015, haha
Luis, what area of Chicago?
I'm in Logan Square but work around UIC/Pilsen area.
Tell you what, we can meet up. Buy me a coffee and the game is yours.
Sure, that'd be great! Mind if I DM you on Instagram to work out the logistics?
Yes, do that.
Great pick up video and congrats on the 100K. I would like to see a video when you receive your Silver Button.
Really nice pickups! I'd love to be able to get a Japanese Master System, partly for the enhanced sound and partly to play SG-1000 games in RGB through its backwards compatibility.
I knew The Game of LIFE had some console ports in Japan (like I believe there's a Saturn version which even uses a spinner controller similar to the OG boardgame version) but wow that sounds like it's bigger than I originally thought! those are some seriously cool pickups, man! I hope to get to Japan someday hitting up a hardoff for some import stuff is definitely on my bucket list!!
also ouch on that story about the CODE: Veronica Dreamcast, what the hell man sorry to hear it! :(
Yay Adam, over 100k subs. Also, guessing the missing SufamiTurbo game that you need is Carrangers, right?
Probably, I don't have a list ready off hand.
great to see. it would be a dream to go and hunt for video game stuff. sorry about the controller, who knows where it is. would be interesting to see if one suddenly comes up on ebay. take care and safe travels.
I know that Japan had a Hello Kitty Dreamcast with its own VMU. That's pretty neat.
Adam the next Neo Geo CD to should try and find is the CDZ. Much faster load times then the regular CD, but very rare, and I'm sure expensive even in Japan.
Also thanks for the videos
Ahh man, super bummed to hear about the missing controller.
It's sad about the controller, is there a system to report missing items? Sadly it's easily done to miss an item when putting stuff back in the box, the amount of times I've tested systems and realised upon putting it back in the packaging that I've missed the av cable or something similar and had to start the process again.
Nah, I was basically told I'm fucked.
Hey Adam, do you think you have another plan for your next trips? because i would love to hear it really. Sidenote, i always love all your videos ever since 2015 man, i hope you take care. Congrats!
My schedule is rather packed for a while, yes.
Pretty Interesting, Sir.
Wish we had games stores like that in the bronx
AT LAST....... 💯 K subs!!! It's been a voyage.
Very nice :)
Congrats on the NGCDS and 100K! What I'm wondering is, where exactly is this Yokosuka Hard Off?
In Yokosuka...are. There's really only do on that peninsula. It's the further south of the two.
Hello Adam, I wonder how did you bring the console boxes with you??? How did you dispatch them?
More mind blowing than the pickups is how you carried all of this back to the states. How many suitcases and carry-ons did it take?
Technically four, but really it was just two. The extra two were my backpack and laptop case.
I wish I was able to get stuff like this in London.
I recall London being a pain for retro games.
Adam Koralik what a convenience 😞😞
23:07 Holy shit! That is expenive! ¥4080 for Super Mario Collection? Those games are about double what I can get them for in my area.
