The man in the video is Ralph Mann. He he set a new world record in the 440 intermediate hurdles in 1970. He competed for the United States in the 1972 Summer Olympics held in Munich, Germany, in the 400 meter hurdles where he won the silver medal.
halbie71 Very cool. I use to be very good friends with Gerald Tinker in the early to mid 90's when I lived in LA. We were Personal Trainers together at a gym in Studio City California. Tinker won a Gold medal in Munich in 1972 in the 4x100 relay. He taught me a lot about sprinting & he didn't necessarily coach me per say, but he use to analyze my videos that I recorded in track meets. He helped me big time and taught me sprinting actually had a lot to do with upper body strength and swing as much as the mechanics & technique of the legs. Tinker ran a 10.10 PB 100m & 6.00 PB 60 yard dash. He also played 2 years in the NFL before blowing out his knees & being forced to retire. I hope that he is doing well.
@@BreuckelensFinest I used to watch Gerald Tinker play high school football at Coral Gables High. It was so unfair. He'd catch a pass and weave from one sideline across to the other until every defender was worn out...then score
I had difficulty hearing what he was saying over the music. I know something was wrong in her gait, but I couldn't tell what it was, and more importantly, how to fix it.
for the most part, her leg was lagging behind her torso. at 4:33 mann points to the red line model saying the knee is flexing at that point. her leg is behind it when it should be in front at the line. this coach advocates vertical force application and opposes pawing and clawing.
Wow. Ralph still moves awfully well for a guy in his late 60s. He obviously practices what he preaches.
RALPH is greater than greatest coach , fan from India.

I love this video
Great stuff! Just, work out the audio issues. This man looks as if he would beat ANYONE in the 🌎... in a sprint (within he's age group).
Do anyone know what the tape off part is? As forth distance?
I'm so interested in the software he is using. Can I purchase it ?
