      @@frankcoldwell4424 It does to me. Initially I thought Alonso too. But after listening more than once, it's clearly Alongside. Well, maybe not clearly or this wouldn't be a conversation, but it is alongside. Closed Caption also says Alongside.

    • @adamcarlson4922
      @adamcarlson4922 Před 15 dny

      Alongside just doesn’t make sense in this context, especially with the inflection. The emphasis in the sentence as put on ‘alongside’ not ‘that’ which would be the only way the sentence would make any sense. And even that implies that the idea of the previous sentence, being a “super consultant,” is the main point that would interest Newey, as opposed to being actively part of car design, which seems far fetched. It just seems way more likely, and makes more sense from all angles, if you meant to say Hamilton and simply misspoke.

    Adrian Newey is 65 years old. He has taken delivery of his new and beautiful 90ft sailing yacht this year which he intends to sail around the world on. More people probably need to realize that this will be his priority because sailing such a vessel around the world at his age is a project in itself.

    Newey will probably retire from F1, like any retiree, to do things he always wanted to do and now without any pressure. He is not interested in those large sums of money. The only thing he can do in F1 is simply follow Verstappen when he moves to another team, because that is the a guarantee of success for his futures designs.
