I really like how Carnage doesn’t form around Cassidy, but they both just shift together. Really sells that they’re both one being rather than a “they” or “we”.
I’m really hoping this is good.
I think it might have something to do with the fact Kassidy looks like he is getting a lethal injection and the symbiote emerges. It looks more like Kassidy does die, but I think maybe his consciousness is imprinted onto the symbiote. That’s why when they shoot carnage just opens up and there is no body inside.

Yeah because when they merge together, they merge LITERALLY. They merged even by cell to cell. That's how carnage formed a whole between him when getting shot.
yea it's kinda like how carnage actually is kasady's blood and flesh other than just the symbiote living in the body
He shifts together because the symbiote bonded with Cassidy's blood not his skin which is also why the symbiote becomes red
Carnage is straight up terrifying in this trailer than in the previous one, and the way that Venom got scared of Carnage is pure comedy gold. I can already tell that this movie will not disappoint.

This actually looks pretty good and has a bit more of a horror vibe ( needed for Carnage ). The 1st one was a guilty pleasure and this one seems a bit better. Probably nothing Oscar worthy, but a good popcorn flick.

I loved the first Venom movie because of Eddie and Venom's dynamic, it was endearing. And this one looks even better.
The Carnage 'symbiote' straight up bonds with Cletus's blood rather than his body like most symbiote/hosts, so Im wondering if they're going the route of having it be a complete bond, thats why they're using that song. Unlike Venom and Eddie, he's still alone because he _is_ Carnage

Well isn't Carnage's whole thing is that he bonded with Cassidy's blood cells? And that's why he's red AND black? I figure that's the situation here except instead of Venom giving birth in prison it's Venom's anatomy just attaching itself to Cleetus's blood, which could be possible, because from the trailers alone I don't think we see any signs of Carnage actually being sentient. It could just be Cleetus driving the whole show, just with a fresh coat of paint
If you pause in 4:04 you can see that carnage is actually doing the head thing like venom did so possibly, it could be carnage doing what its host desires?
@@amly374 True, but looking back at it, the trailer also shows the symbiote simply parting itself so the bullets fly through it's chest, and then there's Cassidy's transformation in the prison looking like Carnage bursting out of him like you squeezed Cassidy like a sponge and Carnage came leaking out the pores, as opposed to the typical transformations of characters like Riot and Venom themselves. So I dunno, it could also be a case of Cleetus simply having full control of the symbiote, his body being absorbed or transformed in the process?

To be honest, i loved the first one, and i hope this lives up to the first. There's no such thing as the perfect film, but i know quite a few shitty films, venom was very enjoyable and i thought the comedy was great, so seeing it in this, i know i will find something to enjoy, really excited 😁

I've been excited for this ever since the first shot of Eddie rolling up to the prison. I got super-mega-excited when I saw Woody with red hair. Carnage has been my favorite Marvel villain since his introduction.

100% not expecting Jay to equate his hatred of quills with Homeward Bound when Chase got hit in the muzzle with a porcupine’s bottom.

It’s funny you should mention being in quarantine with a Venom symbiote: Marvel published a one-shot of Marvel heroes dealing with the pandemic, and one of the funniest of the stories was how Eddie Brock dealt with lack of masks, paper towels... and toilet paper. 😂

Hi Adam and Jay. Venom Let there be Carnage looks awesome and might be one of those few movies that is better then the original. Not to mention that Woody Harrelson fits that character perfectly. Please review Phil Tippett's Mad God next, It looks amazing.

I know little about Carnage but a line from Spiderman the Animated Series (the 90s one) has always stuck with me and may explain it perfectly.... "Cassidy has bonded with the symbiote so completely, he refers to himself as "I" instead of "We" " (paraphrase), Venom and Eddie Brock are 2, Carnage/Cassidy are 1
The thing I loved about the Carnage series in the comics it was a great crossover series. It brought in Spiderman, Deathlok, Iron Fist and others, wonder if they entered Venom in the MCU, could some of these be added to the movie?
So... (and please correct me if I'm wrong here) Carnage is basically Natural Born Killers crossed with Inside Out Boy - Or - Sideshow Bob crossed with The Predator. #ThatAboutItIsh? 🤷♂️🤪

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is currently scheduled to be released on Sep 24th, but it's a really bad sign that there's no date in the trailer. Feels like Sony's thinking about delaying it again.
Might be trying to fit it in around 3 MCU movies in 4 months. You'd think October/Halloween time could work.

The 1st venom movie made $858 million dollars at the box office. So you don't have to be a venom apologist! A couple of people went to see it. Also Norman Reedus came out a few days ago and said he wanted to be the next ghost rider!

I think my only problem with this trailer is the fact they teased the woman with the superhuman scream. Kind of makes it easy to guess what she will serve to the plot if you know anything about the symbiotes

I like the conflicting relationship between Eddie and the symbiote. Hopefully we get Spidey in the third movie where the symbiote longs for him and takes over him, turning Eddie to the Spidey hater he is looking for revenge in the fourth SM film

Hey guys, if you have time, give all final fantasy 14 cinematic trailers a try
Two points;
1. This looks like it's going to outstrip the first film in quality.
2. However, I think the ending is gonna be SUPER predictable. They showed us that girl with the Banshee powers (know Banshee is DC but can't think of Marvel equivalent. Sound is one of the symbiotes weaknesses. Here's how the film goes; Carnage gets made. We find out Banshee girl was made to combat Venom. Venom fights Carnage and loses hard, beaten within an inch of his life. Eddy finds Banshee girl, teams up with her to fight Carnage. Roll credits.
Her name is shriek and she is Carnage’s lover in the comics so venom is definitely not teaming up with her

The woman in the trailer is Shriek, a villain who debuted in the Maximum Carnage storyline and developed a romantic fixation on Carnage, recruiting several other villains to serve as their surrogate "children".

I'm almost positive it wasn't just biting Eddie that caused Cletus to become Carnage. You'll notice what looks like his first transformation happens while he's strapped down. I'm betting that's when he's getting executed for being a psycho cannabalistic serial killer and the chemicals react to the symbiotic and that's when everything goes haywire and Carnage is "born".
I also think so. If you combined both trailers it looks like that happens on death row.

Cassidy is known to be cannibalistic, and in the comics, Carnage was spawned off part of Venom, so it seems a good way to cause it.
@@RemniStrath I don't like it, so once again there is no evil human villain capable of matching Venom. It's always going to be a "red one" or something like that. At least Lex Luther gave humanity some hope of greatness, although the villainess kind.

This trailer had some terrible lines, but I, too, enjoyed the first movie. This should be fun.
