What a legend she is and 1979 was her first appearance on Corrie as Audrey and that’s 45 years ago
I used to watch Corrie here in Australia but I gave it away because the storey lines started to become ridiculous with drug dealers…affairs…murders…those committing murder taking years to solve and arrested or die…and like all show there are more younger actors than the stalwart legends getting more screen time…it’s all aimed at younger viewers….there is not enough legend like Sue..Barbara…Ken in them now.

Sue’s ace, comedy and pathos and works so well together with her fellow Corrie veterans, particularly Helen and Barbara.
Lovely lady, I have met Sue a few times on holiday in Spain always very friendly and approachable . One of the great actresses of Coronation Street ❤
My favorite line she had was when an old woman kept changing her hair style and Audrey says to David "Who doe she think she is, Lady Go Go" and David says "GaGa" and Audrey says, "Oooh you can say tharra gen."
She and mark Eden who was her husband at the time were together from their marriage in 1993 until marks death from Alzheimer’s 27 years later mark is the dad to his son and two daughters from his previous two marriages whilst Sue is a stepmother to his children
And they were together on Corrie which mark played the baddie Alan Bradley he lasted for 4 years from 1986 to 89 which was about 7 years after Sues first appearance
Haven't watched the soaps in years but sue Nichols is a fantastic actress and she is so humble she appreciates her job just like Barbara knoxx ❤and even Barbara Windsor I know different soap but still a fantastic actress who is sadly no longer with us 😢
Helen and Sue great together like a double act...only seven years between them.
Sue was in the first couple of episodes of The Gentle Touch too.
Me and my flatmate have seen her separately, she’s actually really sweet in RL 😂
