John Schaeffer did you not notice that the segment STARTED with calling Obama out for those things? (Except for racial tensions which is one claim we can't really substantiate one way or another. Personally I can't see many actions he took that lead to the riots and the like we've seen, compared to the many police shootings and media treating any stories of racial tension as ratings-grabbers rather than trying to maintain a calm and rational discussion.)
Colbert is obviously biased, I'm not disputing that and I hope no one else is considering he's made a career out of making fun of right-wing pundits, but today he clearly called Obama on that shit, and the subsequent laughs were pretty muted as if the audience didn't quite know how to react. I'm not sure that qualifies as liberal brainwashing in this particular instance.
I mean calling Obama out NOW is obviously too little, too late, but claiming that Colbert avoided these issues when he in fact led with them suggests to me that you either did not watch the clip or had made up your mind before hitting play.

The Colbert report still had so much life left in it. So did Larry Wilmore. I'm glad Colbert went on to bigger things I guess, but the report will always be the best of Colbert in my opinion.
