Next episode is very important but idk why unfortunately anime skipped lot of very importance cut content, So u will get confuse at certain things which makes no sense .
There will be one translation mistake in the next episode.
If u see ".......... Two trials" in next episode . Correct translation of that line is "......... Second trial"
The author put out short stories for alternate timelines where events happen differently. In the Greed If route Wrath does not intervene and Subaru makes the contract with Echidna. The results are, not great.

Yeeah Re:Zero does that alot. It introduces an interesting concept.. but then backpedals and keeps it vague 😂 guess its to maintain the mystery.
From what I understood about the "timelines," Echidna said that as a part of the trial it could for all intents and purposes be only possibilities. Like the first trial with Subaru's parents not being actually real either. BUT since Echidna doesn't actually know how Return by Death works, only Satella would know if those realities actually kept going after Subaru dies. So essentially its being kept vague. So its 50/50 at the moment haha
Again from what I understood about Echidna's speech, what she wants is to use Subaru's Return by Death to the fullest potential. As the Witch of Greed who wants to know EVERYTHING, she wants to use Subaru to observe and understand every single possibility there is in this world. That's what Minerva meant when she said "in the end." Meaning "yeeah you'll be granted the best possible ending IN THE END, but... first lets abuse this power to the fullest to bare witness to everything we can get." Basically Echidna is as clueless as Subaru is on how to find the best possible outcome. She just simply wants to use RBD for knowledge. But ofc as per contract (if Subaru accepts) she won't abandon Subaru until that outcome is reached. That's how I understood it anyway.
Also regarding The Witch of Lust taking the form of Rem, I think it means in his lowest moments he wants Rem there. You'll notice he's fully comfortable showing Rem his weakness when he vents and rants about how he is feeling. But not with Emilia. He'd much rather hide his weakness from her and only show the best sides of himself.
Some important notes about betty
1) Betty is a 2nd artificial spirit and she was created by Echinda.

my question is for u is who is the first artificial spirit created by echinda?
Hint :- we already met him/her
2) 400 years for some reasons echinda made a spirit contract with betty in order to protect Echinda's Library.
3) Betty mentions Echinda as "Mother"
4) Roswal mentioned "Betty waiting for "That person " in order to over write contract with library.
5) Betty wants to die in the hand of "That Person" just bcoz she wants to peace and happy death. But that doesn't means she really wants to die.
I think u misunderstood about betty .
Wait for some episodes, You will fully understand what betty really wants . And also Author didn't fail about betty

Re:Zero does have a ridiculous number of lolis, I regret to say there are more to come. I’ll admit this is one thing that I personally am not a big fan of either.
