- The United States announced their next $6 billion security assistance package for Ukraine and there is a lot of speculation about the possible inclusion of additional Patriot defense systems. Russia has been targeting Ukraine's railroad network to slow down the logistics resupply efforts happening right now as massive amounts of military materials are crossing Germany and Poland to get to Ukraine's frontlines.

Give Ukraine every little thing they need and add some, I mean give them a ridiculous amount of support, overdo it, it’s still going to be the better option.

President Biden needs to use the war powers act to start manufacturing Patriot missiles and other missiles and artillary shells at warp speed. The USA has the highest industrial capability of any country on Earth. Yes including China. We make Artillary shells in Pennsylvania and Texas. At least 3 new manufacturing lines need to be added to both these plants. We need to make it clear to the Europeans what we are doing and for them to follow suit.
This is a great example of why helping Ukraine is in the West's interests. Real world testing of the systems cannot be beaten.

yeah but the glsdb fiasco it's quite huge.... atcms can be supplied but they are expensive and the US even if they are generous can be at some point stopped in doing that we need another plan some engineers must work on it to protect the gps receptor from EW test the thing make it work and slap it back to ukraine even if it take time to test it in the US.. because it's not expensive and those stock sit in the US "garage" it could make a difference . That plan should not be abandonned so "easily".

Yes, yes they are. They are running out of tanks. They are running out of ammunition, etc.. The only reason they have ammunition and stuff is because they’re being given that stuff by Iran and North Korea also due to the stupid mandates by the US and other aiding powers, Ukraine isn’t allowed to target manufacturing facilities so of course Russia is going to continue making more. Russia’s economy is getting worse and worse each day. 1 Russian Ruble is worth less then 1 US cent. Russia has had to resort to WW2 era tanks taken from museums because they used their best stuff already. Really the only thing Russia has going for it right now is it’s high population compared to Ukraine. It has plenty of people to conscript or draft or essentially just kidnap from their houses and send them to the meat grinder.
Ukraine needs to just plug the gaps and hold until the 1.5 million artillery shells from the Czech initiative start flowing in. F16s will also start flying combat missions this summer. They year is only going to get deadlier for Russian forces.

As an Australian I say it's embarrassingly small. For months I've been writing to the government to send artillery ammunition and they only say they'll consider it. Nothing happened. How many Ukrainian troops have died in the last six months because they lacked ammunition?

I understand perfectly why the US doesn't want to be too specific regarding this particular Patriot allocation. My question is why have we been telling Russia and the rest of the world everything we send (almost) since the war began? This is crazy, not to mention dumb.
They don’t tell everything you know, you’d be naive if you believe that! There’s a certain deterrent value to disclosing some of the aid, in addition to encouraging other countries to match the aid (I bet you’d be one of the first to whine that other NATO countries aren’t helping enough! 🤦🏼♂️). NATO isn’t new, they’ve been around the block a few times…
I get your point and jesse is also right but I think another reason for telling what some of the aid is is to show other countries you are helping and to inspire them to also step up.
And hey, if it helps generate a little fear into the Russian aggressors as to what is coming their way? All the better! Now if only they'd take the hint!
One Big difference between the USA and Russia is the WE attempt transparency and truthfulness. But don't believe everything you read & hear about the numbers. How much the info released by our government is All that we have. And How Much is disinformation meant to throw Russian Intelligence off-track. We're not doing enough. Canada has NEVER reached close to 2% of GDP - towards Defense spending in our country - not just more for Ukraine. The $50 million in February went through without hardly any media coverage. I was getting worried our government was not going to announce anything more as things got quiet. Another $100 million is great news! I just hope it keeps coming like Marles has said it will.

I totally agree with you about the map updates, Russia barely makes any progress per thousand losses. They literally advance a few meters and capture a few trees.

I would assume that it goes without saying that America has something up their sleeve other than HIMARS equipment , Air defense systems are The most important thing that Ukraine needs right now. Just another benefit of our assistance to Ukraine. Instead of spending billions on a weapon to have our guys find out it doesn’t work, we spend a few million and know it’s back to the drawing board.
Hopefully it is an issue which can be fixed eventually but if not shells, drones and other mlrs systems will need to do.

The GLSDB announcement makes sense. I was wondering why nothing seemingly came out of it. It’s about time Belgium and Spain did something. Anything.
They have been using glsdb for months. Loads of footage online.
Belgium has been doing things here and there. They're overshadowed by the Netherlands by far, but have at least been more useful than Spain. Which is a travesty considering Spain is 4x more people.

Remember the long delay with GLSDB and everyone asking where they were and why they had not been delivered to Ukraine. We were told it was due the testing in the US. They must have known they had problems with the GLSDB before even sending them to Ukraine.

The thing is that Pudding knows full well that even if he completely withdrew from Ukraine, as per the 1991 border, then the shit show wouldn't be over. Russia will be slowly squeezed and pressure cooked until they have to make some seriously unpleasant deals. Russia will eventually pay some heavy reparations towards Ukraine. And Pudding might have to "die peacefully in his sleep" to avoid Russia the embarrassment of having to hand over an active state leader for trial at The Hauge.
This has backfired spectacularly, and the stupidity is only kept on because Pudding still has a sliver of a hope that somehow, down the road, an opportunity might present itself. We should take that sliver of hope from him.

Finland has sent monthly deliveries to Ukraine since the start. Not a single item has been named. We've just seen on the battlefield pictures Finnish tanks, APCs, cannons, autocannons, rifles, shells and missiles. 900.000 soldiers have much to give. In money the same amount as France has given.

In fact, the cooperation between two big companies is often very difficult. Is one of them American, and the other European or mixed, then cooperation is much more difficult. In practice, we'll see a lot of failures.
