Drae: if you want to upgrade the shark: use buoyancy barrels on the top and the ballast on the bottom so it self-balances, also for the tail instead of using rudders, just use paddles. if you want to go up and down put the Rudders on the side like a fish fin just basically think how a shark swims

The USS Monitor is a type of ironclad warship that you probably should be trying to mimic. It was a Civil War vessel that looked somewhat like cross between a submarine and a sailing ship. It was pretty beefy, but unfortunately had some kinks that weren't anticipated and also it sank during a gale when the pumps gave out. It would have worked nicely for your sea battle! LOL
Im suddenly being greeted by Besiege again on my youtube after years of blackout lol and turns out the culprit is the dlc. Cant believe they added the infamous ocean mod into the game
one of my first builds i did in the game was a rocket launcher. i played a lot of company of heroes 2 at the time and wanted to recreate a katyusha (russian truck with multiple rockets).
the craft was pretty wonky but it could drive, aim and fire multiple missles with quite long range. good ol' memories

For some reason. At the time besige update on seas, i never watched any content for it. But now when drae started to post i imediately got back into it.
+its entertaining how drae does his problem solving in his own way, regardless if its not the smart idea and watching it mostly fail xD
Please do another best creations for besige! With the new water add on there's no telling what cool things people have made and I wouldn't want to see anybody else but dreagast do it!!!

Shark was cool drae maybe wings and a rotation device to angle the fins towards the direction of travel vertically as well as left and right dont know been a while since I played besige.

Did you try adding a fin on top of the shark's head ? Idk why you scrapped that idea immediately but I think it should work as real fish use one. And steering could be achieved by increasing the max angle of the tail on one side compared to the other (the same way you did with the wheels spinning faster on your other boat design). The fin on the tail should be small otherwise it'll push you around instead of helping you swim. Though you could add several fins, each separated by a steering hinge (I guess in this case those hinges should move contrary to the tail movement to make that snake effect). Anyway, your shark project is super cool. And I feel like it's perfectly doable in-game. Keep up the work !

the cork screws can be used as stabd alone engines. i used them to spin left, right tilting and all. could ne what you need to adjust the shark. one screw to lift the head up and down

You definitely need to keep at it with the shark design, perhaps a redesign is in order. Mayhaps you can glean some useful ideas from some other people's shark-like creations.
At the beginning of the shark you could’ve used the rotate block to rotate fins to go up and down
I'm totally not a shark, but if I were I would tell you all about how my fins help me to control my path through the water.

I don’t know if they have the physics for it but what if you were using the water from the cannon and used a second set of heated water cannons to propel the water stream from the not heated water cannons to the beacon to extinguish it I don’t know my idea of shooting it
