I normally do Rent payment via Credit. However Amex is not supported on it. When I contacted Cred, they said they are working on it. You can try one thing, check any app which takes Rent payment via Amazon Pay balance. I tried using the NPS payment and I was successfully able to do it. You can try one more thing, check if Amazon Pay balance is an option for the Tax assessment in any payment gateway. Then you can buy Amazon Gift card from Reward multiplier and use it to pay advance tax

How are you paying rent with Amex? It is not acceptable on CRED and other platforms.

I tried using the NPS payment and I was successfully able to do it.
You can try one more thing, check if Amazon Pay balance is an option for the Tax assessment in any payment gateway.
Then you can buy Amazon Gift card from Reward multiplier and use it to pay advance tax
How to pay utility bills with amex?
I normally do it via Axis Airtel credit card as that makes more sense to me as I have everything Airtel.
However, Amex should work directly or else try with the Cred App.

Upto 14.5% There are Marriott resorts which give conversion for 1 rp = ₹1
And sometimes they gives an offer too on redeeming Marriott points like extra night
You can check in Marriott Bonvoy programme. I have availed it, you have to keep checking or monitor the emails from them for offers.
