    The most relevant thing to note with these static security guards is that they're only employed to act within the bounds of the property. As soon as they step off the property they are no longer acting on behalf of their employer and are therefore no longer covered by their employers liability insurances. They become personally liable for their actions. If they realised this they may not be so eager to do it.

The rules this security guy was trying to enforce only apply to the company property but he would still be operating within the company guidelines while out on public property.

    • @TheHovel
      @TheHovel Před rokem +1

      @@mal6232 It depends in what capacity you're employed and whether or not you are employed to man a single site or multiple sites.
      If you were employed to man multiple sites then I'm going to guess that your employer had sourced suitable insurance, or maybe not.
      Most static guards are employed on a single site basis and so employers don't spend the money insuring them to be mobile.
      In any case, no security guard is employed, or insured, to guard the public highway.

    Dopey security gave a classic answer. "If walking around with no tools then no problem. But a camera becomes suspicious". If you walk around the inside of a library with eyes only, nobody says boo to you. However, when you do exactly the same thing with a camera, there's a problem, yet all you're doing is using a device that ARE your eyes. What's the difference?

    It is so unfortunate that we cannot punish a member of the public at the behest of some business,
    This police officer is worth the watch, very slippery.Did they actually identify,collar number station etc?What was the CAD, why are the police not telling the caller it is a non crime.Waste of taxpayers money sending two constables, intimidation tactic of informing the security and auditor that they will record/report intelligence in case anything happens further, all this for no crime.
    Really clear as day why they don't actually carry out any real policing duties.

    Seriously these videos are way above many audit channels I've seen the intro is fantastic & imho very professionally put together, you are polite and so far I've witnessed you have polite conversations when approached by security etc..
    The majority of the time you are keeping everything calm and factual even attempt to de-escalate when misinformed individuals get on their high horses & argue about laws that don't exist 😂

    It is actually against the law to stand in front of a photographer in a publicly accessible area and deliberately block the view. It's called inhibiting a lawful activity. He can do it while stood on his company's land. But outside in public its an offense. If he was walking his dog down the street and you deliberately stood in front of him stopping him continuously down the street you'd get in bloody trouble from the police. Yet they seem to condone him doing it to you with a well he's in public sir.
