1. Fixing other issues with the game
2. Giving us the game we ACTUALLY want
3. Making other engaging content that isn't locked behind a paywall
this entire easter egg couldn't have taken more than an hour to code in, copy over already used assets, color a nessie blue and add it in the patch. tell me how they could do all this shit you asked in one hour. and no im not defending respawn, im just pointing out the lack of logic on everything you said

@@NEWGHOST9 i have a bit of experience with coding, so i could say that if you take more than a day to add basically a list check and copy over assets, how did they even hire you. now granted if they had to jump through several hoops of bureaucracy just to even be allowed to suggest this idea to ea, and get it greenlit after even more hoops/waiting, then the problem isn't that they're wasting those few theoretical chances they get to suggest something and code it, the problem is the system that is put in place that allows ceos who havent touched any technology that isnt their iphone for the past 3 years to control what stays and leaves in a game they only know by name and value in dollars. don't blame the devs, blame the people holding them hostage
unlikely respawn will ever be off their leash. EA isn’t letting one of their cash cows go off to make another game, and I doubt they care about a few people not buying cosmetics. Especially when they sell slop with a different fragrance and people still buy it.

I think I hate respawn even more now. They canceled a game for a player base that is so dedicated that the first time they get some half-way compelling evidence that it's coming back it single-handedly gets the game resurrected.

Respawn added such a complex code in game to spawn in a blue Nessie but cant prevent cheaters and aim botters in a normal match...truly an apex experience
The people responsible for those two things are not the same team. And even if they were, you are comparing a simple counters and flags code in the firing range with detection algorithms, anticheat and manual checking which should monitor every single match in realtime and can mess up pro players' careers by false positives. So you are comparing a static code snippet to a dynamic system that needs maintenance and should adapt to newly created cheats and hacks. Are you serious?
I'm not saying their security team is doing great, but you are just throwing shit on a fan right there.
Imagine you are given a complex task like writing PhD, and you are not allowed to do other minor tasks (enjoyable or needed) until you finish. That is what you are suggesting.
@@danielf4654 I appreciate their efforts in such minute details in nessies and other easter eggs..but my point is on the major issue that has been existing for many seasons and not just an immediate one. Audio issue, matchmaking, movement configs all still taking toll on apex.
Gun lists sets | Does not matter if you mess up with shotgun or whatever so long as you end up hitting the bullseye / red.
