The whole Colin Gunn thing pisses me off big time. How can he get 35 min for conspiracy? They know he didn’t pull the trigger but they give him 35 min but yet someone (O’Brien) who commits murder and then makes threats from the dock and mocks the victim’s family only gets 18 years?? The justice system is fucked!

I grew up at the time in Nottingham he only protected his family and community nothing wrong with that.
I lived in Nottingham in the 90's and everyone was aware of the Gunn family.
The Gunn family were known up here in the North West, proper dangerous men, 👀😎.
My Dad is originally from Notts. Though my family from there now live just outside it ( Rainworth). I remember my older cousins talking about him back in the 90’s. Like you said everyone had heard of him in that area.

I’ve been inside with both of them what killed the stirlands mcnee and Russell and also been in with Colin and his brother Dave nice blokes but proper nutters even the screws in old b wing Perry road Notts were very careful with what they said and did to the gunny’s they had a lot of respect off virtually all the prison

"High risk" can mean a lot of things. Hard, dangerous, unpredictable, violent etc etc. But a lot also comes down to outside influence and resources. In other words, your ability to manufacture an escape. How much money you have, how influential you are, and your contacts, will all help prevent a downgrade in status. I believe this is the case here, for I don't believe he's disruptive inside. He takes no bull but doesn't go about looking for trouble or to upset screws. He's simply a "potential" high risk of escape
He tried to coerce a prison officer in helping him and another inmate to escape.
@TheBadBunny87 wasn't that like 10-12yrs ago now? Murderers and rapists get downgraded if not released in that time, so do all E list cons. So although it will slightly affect his current status, it wouldn't prevent a downgrade if he's behaved since. Rich and powerful with resources and influence. He lost all that tomorrow he'd be downgraded fairly quickly.
@@danhall3200 Not sure, there's a fairly recent Nottingham newspaper article online that goes into some depth on their reasoning and I remember that it was mentioned that he tried to coerce a prison officer.

I played for his team Scots grey when was a young,but yh it's mad he's high risk ,I knew ppl in altcourse who did way worse n wasn't seen as gangsta but they had a different screw loose..I don't think they will release him due to the contacts n alleged police friends

I’ve always wondered who it is but someone like Colin Gunn who basically had his own small army would fit the criteria. Can you atleast say whether this is true? I don’t expect you to give a name but is there a main ‘head’ who says what goes on and what doesn’t! An it wouldn’t suprise me if it was a Muslim as they seem to have alot of big control in the cat A’s with a lot of white English becoming Muslim for protection
