Kyosho Optima Mid Revival Part II

Here I Clean and prepare the Optima Mid for a test run. It's a fast car, but with this motor which is not the original, is lacking. On the next video on this car, I'll swap the motor and test it at that speed and in better conditions.

I don't remember which model i used to have but it had a chain drive.

Did that sound noisy? My Traxxas Rustler did when I put a 86T metal spur gear on, but I've grown to like it. 5 years and it's still strong! It even ate the teeth off of a 16T pinion!! I worry the moment I stick a brushless motor on the Optima Mid, it's going to shred or pop that belt. A chain sounds like the way to go.

I think they are discontinued so there may only be a select few left out there nearby... Ross, Marshall's, stores that sell products taken off shelf from other stores, best bet is to find one online.
