Hopefully the gaps between them won't be as long as this one and the Year 2 patch. EDIT: Clemens has confirmed that the new reskins were unintentional, meaning that this patch has actually _added_ bugs! They'll probably be reverted to their original forms sometime in the imminent future.
The Provacateurs are a very easy way to get the ducky gun (which does sound more like a duck quack when wearing headphones) since the complication is to avoid getting recorded, which is very easy as long as you're not explicitly going for a SA/SO run

So I have been playing Hitman I & II for years.. I just recently bought Hitman III *Standard Edition* for $23.99 when it was on sale. My question is this: Is the *Deluxe Pack upgrade* worth it ? It's $34.99.. which makes Hitman III roughly $59 for me (better than $79.99 for the Deluxe Edition). But then there's the "7 Deadly Sins" DLC Pack too at $29.99. I can really only afford one of them. Any recommendations & why ?
I noticed the big change where you now get the CCTV-style view on the top left when it tells you to find a disguise, so you know what the disguise looks like. VERY recent change.
There is one UI that is noticeable. The check boxes have transparent colours when you read the contract screen while playing it. It is green if complete correctly and red if completed incorrectly. It is more noticeable if the contract has optional complications.
Unfortunately it was changed back to its old version earlier today, but the model we got a sneak peek at will probably become unlockable at some point in the future.

And while we’re on the subject of wants, I wish the melee tab in the equipment area was further broken up, say to bladed, blunt, and garrote. Cause right now it looks like a bit of a cluttered mess…and I’d also would love to see all my unlocked garrotes side by side.

I'm sure they will patch it eventually. Most likely next year after they are done with this year two thing. But I would like if if they keep the ballon people glitch. Or maybe even make a briefcase mk2 equivalent of it that's makes it easier to do.
I wish they added another possible inventory slot from startout (or two slots in the suitcase), and that it was possible to use the poison vials to refill the syringes. Instead of all the duplicate items you unlock Mk1/2/3 which has no other than estetic diffrerence, they could add i.ex. poison vials with several doses instead... and where is the original dualwielding?
I just want a knockout gun. Like shooting without killing people or getting near them to knockout them. Like you are a Secret Agent but the agency ICA doesn't give you that kind of weapons? Why? Idk, but I like this game at all, is like the Mario Maker of stealth games.
There are multiple tranquilizer guns available, one through Berlin's deluxe escalation, one through Whittleton Creek mastery, one available in Hitman 3 (though I don't recall the unlock method). Hawkes Bay and New York also feature one of the guns inlevel if you want to try them without needing an unlock.

Yea this fucks me up too. I owned Hitman 3 one day after release, because I got my money too late. Now I don't have the Trinity Pack for pre orders. 😢 These are the only items I missing. I wish IOI release an Add-On to buy this pack afterwards for 5 or 10€.
This game has an identity crisis between being silly and being serious nothing wrong with being silly but patching fun stuff that has no impact on anyone I mean it’s a single player game at its core. Still can’t get over that fact we need internet connection to play sigh
anyone else think hitman 4 shouldnt give you a baller pistol early? maybe start with a loud gun and then a suppressed hackl or something? to give new players a better idea of how the game is meant to be played? or maybe not?
Speaking from experience when I say raytracing absolutely sucks the FPS out of your game even whilst on a great card like my own 3070 that can handle RT in games such as Control. Frames go from the mid 100s (even more with DLSS!) down to, depending on settings, the mid 30s or 40s. I can't tell if the RT is just horribly optimised but I couldn't for the life of me find a half-good FPS rate even when turning down other graphics settings to Medium. I'd avoid it at all costs.
Yeah, I was watching Mungadungalis try it out the other day and he had to turn on DLSS to get more than 50 FPS with his 3080. imo H3's reflections and shadows are already good enough for ray tracing to have minimal effect; probably not worth it if you want good frames without using DLSS.
@@CassidyCope Exactly. Sure, it’s nice to have and all but the FPS sacrifice is so astoundingly bad that I’d rather just not most of the time. Maybe I’ll turn it on and hop in a level purely to look around but for regular gameplay I definitely wanna play with high frames. Sad to hear it isn’t any better on a 3080 :(

I honestly just like that the duck gun has a bit more meat soundwise. Even though through very convoluted means.

It kind of does sound like a super sped up quack when you fire the gun, but you’d have to be actively looking for the sound for that to be apparent.

Yep! There's the Classicballer, but I think that requires some Classics challenges to be completed across several levels, so it's pretty hidden.
It’s a shame dak covert was my favourite smg but had to be replaced by a reskin
The dak covert was confirmed to be a bug and will be fixed. The ornamental smg was intended to be a future unlock

You get the masked version only for completing the challenge. The normal version unlocks if you just do the escalation normally.
