Hi Pearly,im a dr. I hv some suggestion please remove the rubber sheets. Some babies are having allergies. Please take ur toiletories. Please dont eat junk foods after deliveries, as its not good for babies tummy. I will put some missed out things. Please avoid wet wipes with alcohol contents which will be troublesome for a sensitive skin. Safe to use normal cotton clothes n wipe with water.
1. Medical Records
2. Toiletories
3. Water bottle
4. Gokarnam, small cup with lid to keep expressed milk, small spoon.
. A vessel to put these in bolied water
5. Hand Sanitiser

I had packed a suitcase full of items for delivery - only needed things. I used most of the items during labour. But what happened was, after we opened things, it was not fitting back inside the suitcase as earlier. Then my hus had to carry lots of items in his hands along with the suitcase when we moved to the room after delivery.
So for second delivery I decided to take one suitcase with minimal stuff to the labour room. And keep another suitcase in the car and take it later when we reach the room after delivery.
But for second delivery we went for a check up, keeping both bags in the car. And the pain started and I delivered baby without even taking the first hospital bag.
The hospital gave me a disposible gown for me to wear and pads for me, nappy for baby and a sheet to wrap the baby as we hadn taken anything inside the room.

Funniest part, when the pain starts you won't be using 50% of the things you packed😁😁 things I added : baby moisturizer, baby diaper rash cream,pacifier(if using), wash clothes. You only need to wipe baby for 2 days in the hospital. Real bath starts at home.. all the best Pearly🥰

Mam ,one thing is baby pillow.cotton cloths , scissors for anything cutting like cloths etc.nail cutter for you mam.soft loofha for washing. A room freshener as your preference and smell also.baby net sheet for protection from insects.a face wash for refreshing.a good smile sticker for happiness.
