Neither me or my brother could ever pass this level, so this is pretty much as far as we got. I can't even tell you the countless hours that I spent everyday trying to beat this level and listening to this song. Good times.
It's crazy how memorable the samples make the music, I haven't played Rush since I was in elementary school back in the early 2010's and I specifically remembered Right There, Ride On, Back 2 Back, and Ska Cha Cha BECAUSE of their samples.That man Hideki is really good at picking out samples, I mean who else would sample a Malcolm X speech?

Took me over a decade to beat this stage, because, I kid you not, I forgot about the mid-air boost kick thing you could do with the R button. I needed it to gain enough height to do a specific jump to beat the level.
This game was my childhood, I spent so much time trying to beat this game, and when I finally beat the final boss, I felt so accomplished, I stopped playing on my DS for a long time.
This game...had some really interesting music. I'm really not a big fan of this but it's catchy as fuck. It's a major earworm. It's one of those songs where it's like oh I haven't played this game in forever how does this song stick out in my mind so much
This 1st level of stage 4 was the bane of existence as a child. Those last few platforms that fell I couldn't get past for around 7 years as I used to play the game on and off all the time. It was only in 2018-2019 when I finally passed the level and then proceeded to lose all my lives on the 2nd level.
OH MY GOODNESS! I heard a cover of this in a Tridashie video several years ago; I had no idea it came from Sonic Rush! Just goes to show you how good this soundtrack is.
