Hope you guys enjoyed the combos we were able to pull off with Blackwings🤙if you have played the deck before, how did you like our combo and if you haven't played it before, would you consider trying it out🤔
So 1:01 in the video you say I still have the additional normal summon after you just normal summoned simoon . Why is that?
I say additional because you still have your normal Summon, but any hand that you get Simoon in, it's eff is priority because you can't control monsters when using so it goes (Simoon eff>your normal summon>Nothung eff)
I think there’s a little confusion.. You normal summoned simoon… And than right after that you NORMAL summoned sudri..how do you double normal summon?
Using the lv 2 tuner Vata plus Sudri to summon Nothung which grants you the last normal summon👍🏾
@@Hotshotfrontier how did you NORMAL SUMMON sudri to the field AFTER you NORMAL SUMMONED simoon… You did NOT special SPECIAL SUMMON SIMOON… You normal summoned Simoon and than you normal summoned sudri.. and then you summoned nothung.. My question still is how did you NORMAL summon SUDRI ..when your only allowed to normal summon 1st per turn.. I get after nothung you can summon again.. But before you got nothung on the feild YOU DOUBLE NORMAL SUMMONED

At 9:30 you can't summon Assault Dragon because he needs 1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 1+ non-Tuner Monsters and Vata is not a Synchro so that wouldn't even be possible
Crazy to see blackwings be the only deck from the 09-11 era to be playable in current year format. Wonder how long before lightsworn and glads get anything lol
It's wild! I'm so happy that they finally got the support to bridge Black-Winged Dragon with Blackwing cards💪 I'll guess and say next year for Lightsworns lol

On the first test hand, when you returned the Sudri to hand with Shamal, there was actually another option. Since you already had a second Sudri, you could’ve just waited on Shamal until you use Vata to dump Zephros and instead of Harmattan you use Chinook, and then chain Shamal to add the Chinook back to hand as an extra interruption.

idk man, I don't use any link monsters in my blackwing deck, and I still build boards with 3 black winged assault dragon and a hot red dragon archfiend abyss, and twin shadow as an endboard if I had simoon and a random blackwing monster to dump with simoon's ability in my starting hand. Than again, if I don't have full combo, I sometimes just end up on something like you did here, except the link monsters of course. Full synchro extra deck is a sight for sore eyes. Also, I run Bi'an and Denglong, so I can go into the invincible full armor master as well if I want to.
That's a really good end board! I mean to each their own. There are a lot of ways you can play the deck. My build is just centered around getting more types of negations out onto the field. Great for people interested in playing Blackwings with the new support👍🏽
@3:13 add whirlwind back to reset it from Simoon's effect
You let it die and take the 1000 so you can use black feather whirlwind again to get vata for the 3rd time since its a soft once per turn.

I don’t understand how you get two double summons when you first started .. Simoon gets normal summoned, how do you get a second normal summon after you get sudri in your hand
Summoning Nothung the Starlight grants you your third normal summon. Definitely keep checking the combo out because depends on certain situations, the chain links are important!

I noticed you didn't summon blackwinged dragon before using shamal effect to save you from the burn. Is there a reason or more just to get sudri to hand asap
Yes! Summoning Nothung and chained it's eff with shamal and black feather whirlwind goes first before summoning Black Winged Dragon. If you try using Vata's eff before hand and it ends negated, you wouldn't be able to get Assault out later on, but technically the combo could go the same way with called by the grave in hand just in case. At the end of the day, it's probably just my preference on summoning it out later🤣🤣

No problem! I'll figure out a way to show you guys, but basically I only use steam if it's the only good normal summon I have available in my starting hand. I've opened it maybe 2-3 times and summoned it back from the gy as well. I used both of the tokens it made to make a Ip Masquerena in one game. It's definitely situational, but can work well in the current setup👍

Vata + BWD wouldn't work because you need a tuner synchro monster to summon.

Yes it is, but it's not a hard once per turn so as long as you bounce it back and activate it again, it's fine👍

No worries, I feel you on that! You could try adding in Small world which would help you find exactly what you want to search or you could add in more handtraps like D.D crow or Nib into the main from the side deck. Crossout Designator is another great card to add in order to protect your combo as well💯
You can drop prosperity and one other card for small world (which is $3 in US) and grab one radian the dark kaiju (10 cents) and it'll guarantee you any blackwing. Small World x3 and only one kaiju.
Adding the dark kaiju works too! Too strong going second💪
