Wow your client has beautiful hair I love the multi tonal blonde ! I'd love to see multi tonal brunette high contrast with coppers and chocolates and blondes!!
Lovely result as always! I fully agree on the importance of putting "loads of product" - my hair is coarse redish 6, and needs lots of saturation with freshly mixed bleach to lift past the yellow-orange stage. some hair is more forgiving, not all.
The colour that you tapped onto the roots was it 8 natural demi or permanent? Did you use 10vol if permanent? Thank you teaching us stylists. Really appreciate your videos. Could you maybe list what you use in the description box for easy reference please?
I think another mistake which leads to bleeding and chunky unblended highlights is weaving and slicing further down the hair shaft. Staying right at the scalp when weaving or slicing ensures the foils are going to be secure and stay in place reducing slippage. Making sure to not oversaturateq
Regarding bleeders (with proper saturation): I notice you don’t press heavily on the foil when painting, so as not to squish the underneath foils. Bob’s your Uncle. (Did I use that phrase correctly?😅💇♀️)
Another great tip (one from James's collection) is mixing ratio's. They're so important. The more developer in the mix the more oxygen swell, resulting in bleeding from foil. With foils it's always the lower end of the mixing ratio for me.
The knowledge that you have with hair and coloring is so impressive.

Love the overall look but would it be better to go diagonal on the front sides to avoid the stripes in the first place ?
Lovely work as always James.
This was very helpful and has helped me alot.
