4 years later I found this video, telling my self “it is a sign to color my hair, ig”. I tried this technique, slightly worried about the outcome. The sectioning of hair took us more than an hour but the coloring part was finished in less than 30 minutes. I did all the things in the video, no teasing of hair and such. It turned out great! I was really not expecting the outcome to be that good because how on earth will it blend that nice??!! but EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. I LOVE MY HAIR!! it turned out great, for real. So, to you, who’s reading this, go girl! Slay that balayage look with this easy technique. P.S. Be careful so that you won’t dye the roots, you surely don’t wanna have a random patch on top :)

It's very pretty but I think it's not something you can do on your own since back section are basically unmanageable from the front (and we only have eyes on the front haha)

For the standard ombre....do you technically need that middle color? Or can just blend?

I don't like old people doing too much to their hair - coloring cutting blow drying etc. When hair has become grey and thinned down its no use.

Why the hell do hair stylist want to thin out gorgeous thick hair????? I scream at my hairstylist if they dare try to thin out my bob! I love it too look like a thick wild beast! Every compliments how thick my bob haircut is because my trusted hairstylist never ever thins out my hair she knows how much I love my super thick indigenous hair! I like to look wild and just roll out of bed! I hate “textured” thinned out hair! Stylists have ruined my hair when they’ve done that to me!

I almost didn't watch this video because I wanted to see another " technique" video LOL I might need this video more than any other! I had a client yesterday that had never had highlights on her dark brown hair, she showed me pictures and I didn't manage her expectations. This is so important!!!! I think this will help me more than anything just like you said. Thank you so much for this!! When I first started doing hair over 30 years ago I had great training and I felt like I was at the top of my game. Then I had children and decided to stay home with them which was wonderful and worth it. They are grown now and I'm back in the salon and I feel mediocre. Your videos have helped me so much.
