- Bio-solids are delivered ready for spreading after harvest, more liquid N applied, Motor bike crossers cause crop damage and build jumps! More wheat and barley out loaded and the row crops go on the sprayer tractor.

Going around the countryside I see more and more piles of bio solids tipped in roadside fields. There seems to be a large difference in the material. Some spreads out over a large area, in slicks about a foot deep at most , obviously a low dry matter content product.
Material from another plant a few miles away sits up in high piles as it's dried more before it goes out to the farms.
The problem with motor bikes and other joy riders using farm land is a problem that has come out from the urban areas. It looks like they are making life more difficult for you down there.
I will certainly take more notice in the future, now we have some! Yes the bikes are a problem.
Great update again, we don't have a bike problem by us more fly tipping and thefts from vans and farm buildings, not a policeman to be seen all we get is a crime no.

Be good for the land along with your mushroom compost nice to see land getting organic fertiliser as well as bagged. 25 mm rain last seven days with me grrrr. And 20 mm of that was last Saturday night Sunday morning. Bikers if you put obstacles in there way they’ll use them
We are putting the bio solids on different land to the mushroom compost, I will show you a picture soon of the root system on the barley where mushroom compost was spread its a hell of a mat. Bikers are a pain!
They do a bit, but not enough, like you said police cut backs! Our police force has some off road bikes now.

Surely the police should do something about the bikes and diggers. Durham police years ago had an expert off road rider , so they got him a bike so he could pursue them with success. Police cut backs now , bet they don’t turn up if you rang them.
They don’t respond very fast! Lol

It costs £2.50/ton delivered, we have to pay for spreading.
Blimey they have just taken over no respect surely the council could find an area they can do it. There’s not alot going on in Scunthorpe.
I know kids got less and less to do these days.
