my favorite thing about Javis , as well as Jordan, is that they’re showing young men it’s okay to have emotions. drawing young men in, they really do need to see other men modeling that behavior. it’s absolutely needed and the double standard is annoying, but I’m glad any one is reaching young men as an audience

Facts
Last year I introduced my mom to commentary CZcams, she's in her 50's, grew up in the Soviet Union and has experienced a lot of sexism in her life. She loved it immediately, even tho she doesn't get a lot of the internet references (she only uses Facebook). But she goes on and on about how inspiring it is for her to see young men talk about these topics that she had only ever heard women talk about irl, she says it gives her hope for the future. Also one day she sent just sent me chad chads profile picture and said "do you know Chad?" and that's so funny to me for several reasons but one is that I literally had showed her Chad Chad from the beginning. Anyway thanks guys for entertaining my mom and making her feel validated and hopeful for our generation.

Good video. At 6:50 they cut off a bit of what I was saying (which is fair enough). What I meant was that, while there IS a lot of commentary youtubers who do great work and do incredible research to find out more information/angles, there is a large majority that I feel just repeat a story without bothering to further research or elaborate on it. Wasn't trying to compare in to 'traditional' jobs, just more comparing good/constructive commentary with those that just parrot back a story. Obviously none of the people in this video, but there are a lot like that.

As someone new to CZcams content creation, this was extremely validating. The demystification of what it's like to try and create something is really calming and comforting to see that huge creators are having the same thoughts and feelings I am.
I would recommend checking out Shanspeare and Khadija Mbowe for well thought out commentary.
4:35 Here is my 2 point of views on commentary channels posting about the same subject.
1. If they are attacking it from different perspectives it’s good because these things get updates and the data can change.
2. When bored it’s good to have a video to go back to when it’s a dry spell and you have an urge to watch someone which is fun.
After she asked him the all-holy question, I really want to see Chad Chad and Jschlatt have a chat. Or maybe a way too violent argument over whether unlimited bacon but no games or games, unlimited games, but no games, is better.

when I met Jarvis I too said hi and ran away. I think it’s important to realize they are real people too!
It seems that fans think that CZcamsrs live their lives under the perception that they are celebrities that have to be on whenever they’re in public. Like I remember working in a deli in a big city where prominent politicians and news presenters would come in regularly and it wasn’t uncommon to see them be super put off by people coming up to them. And those are people I’d expect to be on whenever they’re in public, so to hear that folks that stay inside and stay mostly online are much the same way isn’t shocking at all. I get that people have so much love for there creators, I just think it makes us forget the human element. Like there’s probably massive portions of themselves and their lives they don’t share, and that should be totally ok.

Chad Chad is basically my favorite CZcamsr. I really enjoy her style and position in the commentary landscape; for example, I know that people like JustPearlyThings do actually need to be criticized and condemned, but Chad Chad treats her like the joke she is and makes the world feel a little more sane.
