I stupidly forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
Sometimes I embrace a goal that after a while I realise is kind of silly.
Because goals are just fleeting images of success I have in my mind about outer circumstances which come and go, so achieving a goal gives only a temporary feeling of success because when I materialise a dream or a goal I feel a kind of certainity that this kind of dream is really possible in the objective reality but how I feel about this goal/dream already existed in me when I had this dream in the first place so I'm asking my self if I just worked for nothing? This makes me feel kind of despair... also when I'm persuing a goal I tend to be very focused I don't pay much attention to other aspects of life, I neglect family and friends and I become very narrow minded and egocentric this also kind of bothers me.
Lately I found a goal that inspires me and in contrast to past goals I had, it is about giving to others, which feels more like a solid ground to walk on because I'm not bothered about whether I'll be able to get something from the world (which sometimes I do and sometimes don't like in a regular goal) but rather to help others with what I have.
So I think I'll be able to persist more than I usually do.
Do you have any advice to give regarding my difficulties?
