they actually filmed the entire movie in norwegian and english. They did every scene twice, once in norwegian and once in english

Just visited the Kon Tikki Museum in Oslo!! The original raft and many different objects taken on the journey are there!! What an amazing experience!! 🤩

I loved this movie! It wasn't perfect. I mean.. when they left with the raft, you could really tell the harbor was CGI and in the beginning it was hard to tell who was talking, when it was filmed from above when the four or five (I don't remember how many were on the raft) were planning their route.
But the trip on sea was mindblowing. The acting was good and the animals they encountered were very realistic and it was really a great adventure movie!
Just watched this, it was really good, and let me tell you, there is a scene with a shark that is highly realistic.
The actor is so handsome. His eyes are mesmerising! He is intelligent, kind, innocent - great movie

his theory about Polynesia being populated by South Americans is bogus since it's obvious that people from Asia populated Polynesia by navigating on canoes in search of other lands to settle by using the stars and the ocean currents to know where they are going

Polynesians arn't Asians, lots of groups from Polynesia traveled to south east Asia to Taiwan, and a few historians seem to think that taiwanese are Asians when Infact Taiwan was conquered by the huns Chinese. Polynesians have different features and were much bigger In stature compared to the small Asians.
