France will create a coalition government, it may take some time. Time that is seen as a catastrophe only in Britain.
In reality it's a very important time because it's when different groups/parties are forced to be honest agreeing on real things, to form a government. This doesn't happen in Britain ever.
And meanwhile the country is run by people who actually know how to do it, undisturbed by silly politicians for a while. Some Brits will call them unelected bureaucrats.
would claim that there is always a very good reason to take anything a Brit writes about France with a huge pinch of salt.

Socialists must always borrow from a Capitalist banker to finance free giveways and their Perpetual Wars for Perpetual Government Indebtedness. Napoleon said "When a Government is dependent upon bankers for money - they , and not the leaders of the Government, control the situation." Thomas Jefferson said it more succinctly, "Central Banks are more dangerous than standing armies"
