    The EU ( and for most Germany) doesn't realise by allowing Ukraine to win that they have a serious partner in becoming a super power in between Russia , China AND U.S. . Ukraine joining EU will boost their 'commercial ' value to the other blocks and doing so become more relevant in world power

      Well "this obsession" probably comes from necessity. Russia is pressuring all over the front, Ukraine has issues with manpower and situation does not seems to be improving, not really good signs coming from US regarding future elections. So Ukraine probably making some steps before situation gets out of control.

Pretty much all of the aid money is spent within the US and other countries to purchase vehicles, guns, munitions, food, clothing, etc. then those actually useful supplies are what's sent over to them. If they were able to buy what they need within their own country, they wouldn't need foreign aid, now would they?
