- Saying goodbye to my loyal companion of 14 years has broken me beyond anything I can explain. 14 years ago I rescued Talullah from Cyprus at just 8 weeks old and from that day forward she has been by my side as my best friend, and we have had the most amazing journey together…. I didn’t want it to ever end 😭 but end it must…. Until we meet again my girl thank you for spending your life with me, my heart will always be missing a piece that now rest with you.

The hardest goodbye of my life, I’m really struggling to come to terms with the loss of talullah- so videos will be back when I can face the world again. Good night my loyal best friend 🌈💔

When I lost my first dog over 20 years ago,I got 4 other West Highland Terriers within 4 weeks to channel my love to them and give them a good home take my mind of our loss, and avoid coming home to not be greeted by our best friends.
Whatever you decide,going forward,you wil,always,have your wonderful memories of your lovely companion.
Commiserations Carrie, those goodbyes are brutal aren’t they? If your experience is anything like ours the photos and videos will break your heart but you’ll also see again how wonderful they really were and you’ll kind of fall in love with them all over again. We lost our two cats in 18 months but I still hear them in my dreams, quite literally. 👍🏼✌🏼🖖🏼

Sorry for your loss Carrie. One of the worst times of my life was loosing my 16 Border Collie Bobby, he was like a little brother who then became my big brother all the while being my best mate. Take solace that you were able to give her a fun and adventurous life ❤

Truly sorry for your loss Carrie. Dogs bring us so much unconditional love and companionship. Losing them is one of the hardest parts of pet ownership. ❤❤ I lost my 2yr old german shepherd to kidney failure 10yrs or so has passed but I never forget him x

Alway very sad when you lose a pet, we went through the same with our little fella we had for fourteen years. Two years have passed and we still thinking of him.😢😢😢
@@Blbbbb 🥹🥹 it’s heartbreaking isn’t it, I lost a dog 6 years ago and I still feel the pain now for her😭 they are our family I just wish they lived as long as we do. Sorry to hear you lost your companion too 🌈
Aw mate I'm so sorry. What you can focus on is the life she may have endured had you not rescued her & instead gave her a life full of love, adventures & endless fun. She was one happy, fulfilled dog. No-one can do any more for their pet. Sending you a big hug xx

Sometimes, people have a break because speaking as a Fog Owner who has had 3 holidays since 1988 lol) I know they can be a restriction but as you already have a lovely dog then, presumably, that does not apply. Please, always, remember that it is not disrespectful to Talullah to get another dog soon as you will always have those memories but wonderful Owners such as your family can give another dog a lovely home and cheer up your other dog who will be missing her.
The longest I have lasted is 18 days :) Good Luck.

Sorry for your loss, my best friend died a few months ago. She was a14 year old springer spanial. We had 14 great years. I am not ashamed to say I cried, but I think possitive about the years we had.

I'm very sorry for your loss. But I'm sure you gave her the best life a doggo could have. Sadly I lost my yellow lab, Bella, also this year on easter sunday, 4 days after her 14th birthday. But tell you what: I bet they're having a blast right now in dog-heaven or wherever. The pain will fade away and only the good memories will remain. I'm sure we will see them again. Only thing we can do now for them is to live our best lifes. That's what they always wanted. Ok that and a lot of treats. 😊 Wish you the best and stay strong! 🙂

I lost Tia in 2016 aged 16 and a half, she had over 40-50 holidays, lots of adventures be it caravans or log cabins, boat trips the lot, the day she was put to sleep i stroked her in her last moments watching her go, it broke my heart and 8 years on it never gets easy for me despite being brought up on few dogs, i fully understand your loss, i have umpteen videos of those holidays and watch every now and again, hope you be ok carrie and treasure those clips you have.❤
