Fall of the Republic - A Star Wars Tribute

- This is something different from what I normally do. I wanted to try my hand at a tribute video for Star Wars, especially since Star Wars is one of my favorite franchises, and also because I love editing videos too. I apologize for some bad audio quality from time to time. The video editor I'm working with isn't any Premiere Pro, though I am working on getting some professional software to make these videos better for you guys. There will absolutely be Star Wars writing content to come in the future, not just tribute videos.
Since this is a tribute video, there will absolutely be spoilers. Here is a list of all the possible spoilers.

The fall of the Republic is the most intriguing and heart-wrenching part of Star Wars imo. Can never get enough content of that era, especially the crumble of it all
Need to get into the old republic more then my man. Some of the crap that went on in old republic era is about 400 times more dramatic or heart wrenching.
That being said the fall of the republic on a microscale is intriguing and emotional af when you see all the small stories outside the movies

When people think Star Wars is just for kids there is so much depth and emotion and lore, truly a magnificent web woven by a master of story telling. Thank you George Lucas.
Star Wars is for kids tho, Lucas said so himself, that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed by adults. Besides kids are smarter than you give them credit for

I agree with you. But I think Maul was talking about Master Luke. Who in a way was still right because Master Luke was able to change Master Skywalker and kill Darth Sidous.
Unfortunately Rey's movies had to come when they bring Palpatine back

I am an Old Republic fan as well! I'd have to say that it's probably my favorite era of Star Wars.

Bravo bravo brought a tear to this old salty dogs eye hits ya right in the feels.
For over a thousand generations the Jedi knights where the keepers of peace and justice throughout the old republic before the dark times before the empire. Can we just say how good they did in a new hope of showing the depression obi wan had from all that happened in the clone wars.

Ventress and Ashoka r a lot alike of u think about it
Ventress was betrayed by dooku ( although he did it reluctantly,). Ashoka was betrayed by bariss and the council.
Their master's were both killed. Ventress had 2 (dooku and a Jedi) and Ashoka had anikin who was consumed by Vader
So they were a lot alike
You would enjoy the Dark Disciple novel!
Which is why ventress points that out in an episode ventress is such a great character that is often overlooked.

I know how much time and effort goes into editing all those pieces together! And this, what you've created is so touching, my heart aches while watching! I love this era, I love Ahsokas and Anikans relationship and I always wish for a different ending, and yet I get disappointed...
Thank you so much! It does take quite some time to put an edit like this together so thank you for taking the time to watch it! I completely agree with you on Ahsoka and Anakin's relationship! It is just so well built up and in my opinion one of the best sibling-like relationships in a story-line ever.

Amazing video saw a part on TikTok and came to CZcams to find the whole thing. Still gets me in the feels minus all the force stuff the parallels to what’s going on in the world today are similar. Fake non needed wars, corrupt politicians lining their pockets. Just everything Star Wars connects with on a real life level. Thank you for the video

got to love how the entire clone wars just make Ep iv Kenobi look like a complete and utter fraud. He DELIBERATELY LIED to luke about literally everything and somehow still gets portrayed as a good guy???
I assume he either doesn't wanna remember or he doesn't want such info to disturb Luke to the point he follows his father's footsteps... Or maybe he wants Luke to figure it out when he's ready
It was for Luke's own sake back then. If he was told whole truth back then he would probably have ran away from ever join the war or probably fear & even become what his father was. In short he wouldn't have been able to handle the whole truth back then.
Everyone except for luke believes anakin is truly gone, and they see killing vader as the last resort. They don't want luke's feelings to get in the way... an age-old jedi weakness.
Can we get a video of just the audio? That was amazing and had me in chills just listening to it.

Loved it but i hate that you did not include the part where maul says "To late for what the republic to fall it already has and you just cant se it there is not justice no law exept for the one that will replace it" that is one of the strongest moments in clone wars becuse of the truth in it
I agree! Maul is such a well written character and the whole plot up to the point was written so well (just built up well in general) and that line in particular is very impactful.

To be honest my Tribute to Fives has the same Style you did your Video, i recommend you, go and check out. And please if you want to, than share it with your friends. Your edit is a masterclass.
I don't know how others feel but ever since Disney took over, I feel that everything they put out has lost the incredible story of Star wars that George Lucas envisioned. Disney just took Star Wars in a different direction that I just don't like anymore....
i think the Clone Wars was just a way for the sith to get 1000 years of revenge on the jedi cause the jedi took down the sith 1000 years before this but then the sith were hiding and growing powerful in the dark while the jedi were growing weaker in the light which led the jedi to fall and the sith to rise again i mean think about it
What I remember about the rise of the woke Disney Empire is... is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Star wars fandom, the star wars IP was discreetly transferred into the hands of one Kathleen Kennedy. It was a silent transfer into the once beloved Disney corporation. We the loyal fans original trilogy and prequel all knew what was about to happen, what the stiffs at Disney were about to do. Did we fans have any doubts? Any private traitorous thoughts? Obviously, but no one said a word. Not on the destruction of fandom Canon and legends, not when the Order came down from Kennedy to "wokekify" and ruin our beloved franchise in the name of progressivism in which they worship,and not when cancel culture and the woke mob marched into Twitter and all other platforms. Not a word...
