No, that is EXACTLY why they keep sending ships there. They hope to finally get the submarine that has been decimating their entire navy for the past two months.
Every 33ft,~10m, is 1atm or 14.7psi, which means 150m is ~225 psi over the ~1atm in the boat

general rule of thumb that I operate by with dotmod:
crush depth = test depth + 25% (I.E collins crush depth in dotmod would be about 1250ft)
and hull % correalates to available test depth. so your hull at ~60% would have a test depth of ~600ft and an absolute no-no depth of 750 ft. this is just a rough model so may not be how dotmod operates; and while in my experience when there is no flooding, the flooding will not return - a good model that I've used is to stick to half the new test depth. so for safety sake I'd say 300ft is reasonable, may get flooding beyond that and may crush beyond 750ft
I think it would have actually been better if the game simulated all of the nearby ships rather than separate engagements so that if an engagement is taking long enough and moves to a particular location it can meet another group of ships mid combat and you can actually make progress moving during engagement as well as out of them etc.
In this situation all the counter fire from your opponents would start sinking ships in the massive fleet that surrounds you, it's like fish in a barrel.
Survival by stealth.
If they won't let Magz go home _now_ the next video might find us watching him as an independent submarine mercenary - or a pirate.
