I think the tough part about this quarantine is just that people are so used to seeing each other and interact on a daily basis that the sudden cut off and just being alone for months is not something they are used to. Fast forward this to 6 months and then a year, it's driving people crazy because most people live on a daily basis interactions with others, and they just want to see their friends and family and just be able to go to places without worrying about wearing a mask and dying. But the problem is that this requires everyone to do their own parts, and the general public in America aren't doing their parts, which in reality is prolonging this whole quarantine even more and making it worse for this country. If America can just look at other successful countries and how they dealt with COVID-19, just look at China or South Korea. They are basically safe to go out without a mask and most of the restaurants are all open like before now. It's because their government forced everyone to stay indoor, and anyone who comes in from outside that isn't local is forced to be isolated for 14 days regardless if you are COVID-19 positive or negative. Their government will force you to stay indoor if you do not oblige. This whole pandemic isn't about you or me, but it's about the people around us. Everyone needs to be responsible and do their own parts or this is only going to get worse. If people continue to ignore and don't care, then more people will continue to die. It's all cool until you get it yourself, then you start to care. But by then, it's already too late.
