  • Sorry for the bad video angle, got excited and recorded on my phone with the wrong settings. This is just an unboxing with initial impressions. I will conduct further build upgrades and reviews later. Thanks for watching!

    Hey Bro. Great video on your unboxing. Have the 18 inch model on order. Your vid sold me on the FDE setup. Wish there were more Predatober vids, can’t stop watching yours in anticipation of receiving mine. Lol.

    Beautiful! Please try to film in the horizontal. Life is lived in wide screen my friend.

      I agree! my computer was down when I filmed & posted it and I decided to film and post on my phone, which I had a difficult time figuring out how to rotate the footage...

    There aren't a lot of 556 predatobr videos out there. Will you ever do a video of you shooting it? Great vid by the way.

    Nice rifle! :) how long did it take before you received it? I have a Larue Tactical predatobr 7.62 on order, they told me it would be 14 weeks before I receive it.

      762 takes much longer :( mine took 15 days

    What's the weight on that rifle? Been looking in to this same met up for a while but most of the info is on the 7.62 or mostly just pictures of groups. Definitely put some more videos up

      it's not light, haven't weighed it yet but over 7 lbs. with the Atlas bipod, light and scope it's very heavy but meant to be stationary. when I pull the bipod and scope off its not bad. it's weight is in the upper/lower, heavy barrel and the stock. the rail is very light

    Know it’s been awhile since you posted said vid, but can u give “your base, some red meat” on your thoughts and reflections on an Awesome rifle? Thanks, Lol.

      Still awesome, I ended up selling it to fund a large frame larue ultimate upper build. Now I have several ultimate upper complete builds. I love the compact ease of the tobr but the price of the kits is too good to pass up

      Hey Kam. Thanks for your reply. “Red meat” in jest, lol. I hail from Rhode Island, the lone bastion of Northeast states in the mid- lower quadrant that stands alone and begrudgingly has no “Assault Weapons “ ban in place as of yet. Got excited to see your vid of an awesome rifle I have on order, and hopefully the “ Hippie Liberals “ here won’t cast any ridiculous restrictions on gun ownership. Thanks.

    how do you like the rifle? I have an opportunity to get one locally for $1800. From what I saw when I checked it out it has maybe 200 rounds through it at the very most. I don't really care about the ability to break it down, I just want a rifle that's tough as nails and can shoot 55gr really well. Thanks man.

      If you dont care about the break down feature then just buy the larue ultimate upper kit and build it yourself. Save a ton

    I thought these came in a tool box?

    • @kameronallison416
      @kameronallison416 Před 7 lety

      they apparently came with the toolbox in the very beginning but not anymore. I purchased it seperate and it shipped in another box. I'm OK paying the extra for the toolbox considering the new larue furniture and mbt trigger that comes standard now

      +Kameron Allison I'm sure you love the rifle! Can you do a follow up video? I'm still debating if I should get a 16 or 18...since I have 14.5 carbine...any opinions will be greatly appreciated..thanks!

      you can see how it looks now. If you listen to Todd Hardnet, he says 16" is the best for a semi gun. shorter/stiffer barrels are best combination. the negligible velocity difference in an 18" doesn't seem worth it to me. I've got a 9 inch can that hangs off so 16" is plenty
