After I broke it in I did a compression test and the engine was on the stronger side of the spectrum. Perhaps it was based on the way I broke it in or maybe it was just shear luck 🤷🏼‍♂️ It's a lot to explain because there are several different phases but I'll do my best to explain in short... For the first ten hours don't go wide open throttle unless it's for 3-4 second burst and do not hold the engine RPMs at a constant speed. Constantly accelerate and decelerate. After ten hours you can go wide open throttle for as long as you wish!! 😂😂🤘 Get a video of it for us bro! And thanks for being such a huge supporter brother!

    Funny you have a Honda CRF in the background cause I have been browsing around for a man toy this past week in the price range of up to $ 1500 around and have been seeing some Honda CRF 100's for sale for around$1200-1300 Used of course. But I am a full grown adult male weighing around 190 - 195 pounds and not sure how well the CRF 100 would ride with me on it. Now I see this Chinese bike in a 125 brand new for less than a used CRF 100 and I'm wondering which I should get ?? The smaller used Honda for the better quality or the new Apollo 125 even though they probably have to be maintained a lot more often and who knows what other issues they might have ? Help me decide please lol. Just looking for something cool to putt around my 40 acres of property here in NC.

      Haha I understand. So believe it or not the CRF 100 will be more powerful and faster than the Apollo 125. Also the Honda will hold up longer long term. If you search Facebook marketplace for a few weeks you should be able to find a CRF100 in that price range or even less. If you're able to find a CRF-150 for a decent price I would definitely jump on that because that bike will have a large power difference over the 100. QUADNATION 929 I’m putting together mine and I’m having an issue getting the front end in the air to put the front tire on. Bike slipped off the stand and could have been bad. I’m completely new to this. Any help here? Should I secure the rear shock with the bolt first?

    • @trittany2882
      @trittany2882 Před 4 lety +1

      QUADNATION 929 never mind I got it sorted making it easier to secure the rear shock and then tilting it back partly resting on the back tire. These Apollo bikes don’t rest right on a standard stand. The kick stand gets in the way the small pin piece if you know what I mean.

      @@trittany2882 yes I know exactly what you mean, the pin and the rear brake lever. I moved the stand around a few times and then found a balance point and a spot where it wasn't putting pressure on the pin.

      Have you built it yet? You're going to need socket wrenches and Allen wrenches for the most part. As far as the exact size of the sockets I believe I mentioned it in the video but if not for the most part you're going to be needing 10 mm and 12 mm and the larger nuts on the hubs will be 14 to 17 mm. I hope this helps.

    Can you grease the axel with WD-40

    • @FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL
      @FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL  Před 4 lety

      It's recommended that you use a multi-purpose grease because it remains on the axle for much longer than a solution like WD-40 which once it is exposed to heat it'll start vaporizing and eventually it'll be down to just metal and metal again. So I would advise against using anything other than the grease.

      @@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL you have to dump out the oil that comes in the engine during shipping right away. The stuff that is inside the engine during shipping is pretty much "vegetable" oil, and it could cause problems in the future. There are so many videos online of people who own Chinese bikes and say that they're terrible bikes, but I'm absolutely sure that the one thing all those reviews have in common is that they forgot to dump out the oil immediately and put some fresh 10W-40 in the engine before break-in.
