As for Adler being captured and under mind control I feel like instead of making it a story in war zone with cutscenes and such it would’ve been a cool campaign storyline to have in a another black ops game.
Kind of makes the ending of Cold War pointless sense now we know for sure he made it

I was genuinely invested into the Vanguard Warzone story. I really enjoyed the MW and Cold War storylines and so I was naturally really looking forward to how Vanguard was going to connect. From season 1-2 it seemed like they were building something with Caldera and Nebula V but with Season 3 onwards they just completely abandoned it! Like why? I get that Vanguard was on a downhill at this point, fans were not really enjoying the game and there was also the Activision-Blizzard behind the scenes issues. But I’m just left disappointed.
I think it's just the Butcher losing his mind and gets shot by Woods or Hudson.
Idk Cold wars story wasn't as good as MWs was but Vanguard is just more insane than Australia

Ok, the zombies in Verdansk does make sense, but it ties into CW zombies. Basically the ship gets swallowed by a portal, and after almost 40 years gets spit back out with the crew mutated.
Now CW made it clear that Zombies had to be inside certain zones to survive, so the fact that this Zone wasn't in Verdansk only goes to prove that the Zombies were mutated to be much stronger than the CW ones.
Tl:Dr Zombies in Verdansk makes sense, it just takes a lot of mind wrapping to understand wtf happened.
Exactly, especially when in Cold War, Zombies is canon as it now leaks to the world... and because the Aether universe is not viable anymore.

Aren't they an organization in the 80s that are meant to cover up the Outbreaks across the world... even though it was disbanded in 1985 after the events in Forsaken?
Even so, zombies will never be canon to the campaigns and especially MW. I mean they could add them for fun sure, but canon? There's absolutely no question that they are not.
@@greenth-mac2550 Due to the Aether universe being gone or turned into the Dark Aether, the next viable option is to take place in the current world, where the campaigns, multiplayers and Warzone take place. After all, how else do Dark Aether artifacts exist in the established universe of COD... including the museum in BO4, the introduction of the crashed ship in Verdansk, and the fact that Project Aether exist or mentioned due to the ending of Vanguard's story.
Anything relating to COD will always be connected to each other unless proven otherwise. Due to what we know so far, Zombies has too many connections that can't be ignored.
In the end, it reveals that they are Canon to the established universe's lore.
imagine a event in warzone where you have to find the villains while trying to kill zombies and avoid Godzilla and King Kong in the futuristic years of bo2, 3, and 4

I'm here for the stories you put out, I'm down to try warzone 2 and dmz but I'll stay on mw and cw for mp. campaign really hasn't been anything I play, so you make me want to and have started playing them.
Zombies in Verdansk is 100% canon. If you read up on the story of CWs campaign, zombies was mentioned a few times aka weaver being on a separate team, plus notes from warzone. So Verdansk is/should be destroyed still as it was nuked due to the zombies outbreak. We may hear of it in MW2’s campaign
Also, the ship the zombies were on went through an dark Aether portal during the events of outbreak zombies. The portal than spit the ship back out with the crew being mutated aka zombies. The ship originally was being shipped to Verdansk with Nova from Rebirth being on it.

I find the liklihood of Price going "yeah, we stopped Zakhaev from nuking Verdansk - but then a boat appeared from nowhere and zombie showed up then they launched a nuke" in MW2 to be pretty unlikely

@@Nosfera22 Her bio also mentions the "Unseen Forces" that happened in Verdansk. Zakhaev and Al-Qatala are already known so the only answer is the Vodianoy Ship Outbreak.

I was so excited at the end of Modern Warfare 2019 story. Really thought at first that Modern Warfare 2 was gonna be about Zhakaev and Al-Assad
Yeah didn’t know any of this war zone story shit because a lot of that came after Cold War which I dropped Warzone CW and never played Vanguard so when I played MW2 I was so fucking confused as to why neither showed up

If you take into the fact that Zombies is actually Canon to both the Campaigns and Warzone, then the introduction of Zombies in Verdansk 2021 makes sense.

The zombies are cannon that's the best part
Zombies has always been cannon to some extent. We could even the primis crew statues in one of the BO3 maps with their great war outfit.
I genuinely really liked MW2019's and Cold War's storylines but Vanguard was a huge bummer.

Possible spoilers for MWII story
It appears that Verdansk being nuked may not be canon as there was zero mention of it in the MWII story. I feel like something that major would have been spotted somewhere. I think the zombies in Verdansk was just the devs' way of saying, "we're moving on from Verdansk." Except they didn't actually move on from Verdansk. Lol
It's possible they also jsut didn't mention it because any mention of verdansk forces them to talk about zombies which they won't want to in their "immserive and realistic military story"

For me the story in cold war era of warzone was more interesting cause it actually had a villain who had a reason for what he was doing and went about doing it far more better then the villain in MW did and I think I might have an idea what stitch was after, I think he wanted to find Perseus (the group of spies that were called Perseus) too cause it is said throughout the story that even the russians didn't know where Perseus was and stitch was just trying to find Perseus and lying to everyone that he was working for them and with the broadcast station he find out that where they were and saw that the head at the time was dead and the rest were scattered so he just gave up and let Adler kill him
Something has been bothering me for so long, during the destruction of verdansk part 2 event. There's times where you'll intercept comms with the Announcer talking to someone. I have never seen anyone mention it about it. It makes me question what he meant. Wanna end it by saying great video and I can't wait for MWll

Zombies are canon with in the warzone/Verdansk story.
Vanguard (We don't talk about that) and Cold war zombies happen in the same universe as Modern warfare 2019.
I don't know why people don't know about this.
It's a theory but the reason that the ship appear on verdansk is because of what happen with the aether missiles launch by ravenov at the end of the outbreak ester egg (1984).
They were launch at the same time the ship was on the ocean and got hit by it and they were teleported to the dark aether and then teleported throughout time back to verdansk sea (2019). ( Season 2 - They introduced the outbreak map, the ship, the nuke and verdansk 84 so that explains the coincidence). And the voices on that cutscene may be a secret organization that knows about the zombies and they just take action.
I like how zombies appear sometimes because they know they can do anything with zombies because they are involved in the same universe but choose not to risk it by not diving deeper.
There is a possibility that the next zombies story explains what were the consequences of those missiles.
At the end of the Ester egg cutscene map Forsaken Peck will go to the location the missiles hit.
I feel that cold war really was supposed to be something but warzone rushed it also cold war really connected everything.

Before Vangaurd released I thought that the story would involve the SS Werewolfs, SOE and OSS operators that would connect the BOCW and MW2019. That never happened and we only had just a small fraction that connected the storyline which wasn't a satisfying to me as it felt like it wasn't elaborated deep enough.

I see the zombies as project aether always was around due to being mentioned in vanguard and because of the zombies games from world at war and black ops mentioning nazi group 935; and was then taken on by requiem division in the 80s to hunt down and cover up outbreaks across the world from the general public. I think they succeeded and then the vodinoy (probably spelt wrong) ship left rebirth during the attack in BO1 which We know was carrying nova 6 gas and as it went through an aether portal “somehow” (maybe a remnant from the dark aether 🤷🏻♂️) took it through time and appear off the coast of verdansk during the operations there and the gas maybe caused a zombie mutation which of course has to be contained by the armistice and Russian forces hence the nuke we fired…this is me just thinking out loud when I can’t bloody sleep so who knows

Operation Monarch takes place in the 1950s, and Fortune's Keep takes place in 1970s. They're both canon, whether you want them to be or not.
What I find interesting is if the last stand season takes place in 2022 menendez is alive and kalil alisad is probably still alive. Ghosts campaign may be canon but heavily retconned so rouke would be alive at this point (sorry for the bad spelling)

War zone should be like Fortnite in the sense that all operators carry over , or as times change maybe they can release variants of skins to make it seem as if ghost was a part of the gulf war or stuff like that. I mean we already got skulls,rat heads and other wild things why not just keep all characters in so it doesn’t feel like such a loss everytime a new game comes out
