I don’t know much about cars but I know if there’s no leaking than there’s no reason to add oil. So yes I’d say it’s common sense.
Correction You know NOTHING about cars. Most oil loss in engines isn't due to an external leak but rather a faulty ring, lifter or worn piston/cylinder that allows oil to get burnt in the combustion stroke and ejected through the exhaust.
They don’t need to ‘look for you’ when you have a chip in your brain, they already know where you are.
