I just love your different world travels. I have been to Washington seversl times, most recent a bus tour summer of 2023.
We were able to do some of what you did, but not tour inside all of locations.
It is a place to go back again and again.

Agreed! DC has so much to see. We want to go back to tour the Capital and the White House. Plus, there are so many more museums worth seeing. It's definitely worth going back again and again.
Thanks for taking us on a tour of DC! We've actually never been. I think we'd want the experience of getting around on the metro. The views from the National Monument are pretty awesome, but I can see why the Library was your favorite ☺️

Oh wow...I had no idea about the feet in the water tip. The FDR memorial is my favorite and a nod to the fact that presidents could serve indefinitely (in increments of 4 yr terms) once upon a time.

Well you would love D.C. nearly every attraction is free. Parking on the other hand, costly!
I wish we had watched this video before our trip to Washington DC . We were there for a family reunion. we walked the National Mall and stayed in the downtown area and the wharf. I would have loved to have taken a water taxi.
