Recover Deleted Files from a Recycle Bin 00:59
    Recover Files Using CMD 02:09
    Free Data Recovery Software 03:42
    File History Method 06:48
    Restore previous versions 07:32
Method 1: Recover deleted files from a Recycle Bin
    1. Double-click on the Recycle Bin to open it.
    2. Find and see the files to be recovered. You can use the Ctrl and Shift keys to choose multiple items at once.
    3. Right-click on the selection and choose Restore. This will restore the file to its original location. You can also drag the file out of the Recycle Bin and drop it on a new location where it will be stored.
    4. Verify the files have indeed been restored to their original or new location.
Method 2: Recover Files Using CMD
    1. Open the Start menu. recover deleted files in Windows 10
    2. Type "cmd", right-click on the top match, and select "Run as administrator" to run the Command Prompt with an administrator privilege.
    3. Type "chkdsk X: /f" and hit Enter on your keyboard. Replace "X" with the letter of your hard drive.
    4. Type "ATTRIB -H -R -S /S /D X:*.*" and hit Enter. Again, replace "X" with the letter of your hard drive.
Method 3: Use a Data Recovery Software
    1. Download and install Disk Drill.
It is strongly recommended that you do not use the disk that will be used for the recovery. Installing on that disk can lead to corruption or overwritten files before you get the chance to recover them.
    2. Launch the application.
    3. Select the disk or partition where the files were located from the list presented in the application’s window.
    4. Click the Search for lost data button to initiate Disk Drill’s scanning algorithms. As it processes, you will be presented with a list of the files that can be recovered.recover deleted files in windows 10
    5. Select the files (photos, music files, videos, documents, etc.) you wish to restore and a new location where you will store them.
    6. Click the Restore button to restore the file to its original location.
Address any naming conflicts by replacing the original file with the restored version, skipping the file, or keeping both for your review.
    Method 4: Use File History
    1. Click on the File Explorer icon and open the folder that contained the items that you want to recover.
    2. Click the Home tab and then the History button.
    3. Select the files or folder that you wish to restore.
    4. Navigate through time with the arrows to search for the version you want to recover.
Method 5: Use “Restore previous versions” on Windows 10
    1. Open the Start menu. recover deleted files in Windows 10
    2. Type "system protection" and hit Enter on your keyboard.
    3. Choose a hard drive under “Protection Settings” and click "Configure".
    4. Select "Turn on system protection" and click “OK”.
    5. You can now use the “Restore previous versions” feature to restore a file or folder to its previous state.

Deleted 2 videos a few hours ago from my D drive. Not only that, I proceeded to "Empty Recycle Bin" now, there is no way for me to get these back? I have tried multiple ways with the Windows File Recovery. I have the EXACT FILE NAMES as well, due to the fact that Adobe Premiere Pro is trying to find them as well. Hi, I am happy to answer this for you!
Disk Drill is a fast, easy to use, and reliable data recovery solution. We support 350+ file formats (www.cleverfiles.com/help/file-types/) and add new ones frequently.
There is no subscription fee involved. You pay once and get a lifetime's worth. Moreover, you can fully evaluate your files' recoverability with the preview feature in Disk Drill Basic before purchasing Disk Drill PRO.
Aside from the data recovery, you can use additional protection features to ensure that all your precious files are safe.
You can find a full comparison table of Disk Drill with the competitors here: www.cleverfiles.com/data-recovery-software.html

Maybe you know any other way what ould help in my situation. My computer was connected with one drive from the company, after disconnecting it changed my system paths for saving and desktop setups. I have discovered it after a while and wanted to make it back so if I save something on the desktop is not showing the old connection but on the desktop itself. As normally the one drive makes a copy of all that you can find on the computer I deleted the path on the C:/ file flor user and here comes the worst, it deleted all my files from the desktop and none of your recommended ways is not helping to recover. Do you know any other way that can help me to get back those files?
I am thankful for any advice and ideas.

Very well structured video and well explained. However, literally none of this worked for me. I recently had like thousands of PNG files randomly disappear on me , presumably deleted. I unfortunately had no restore point/file history prior to this event and they did not go to the recycling bin so that checks off most of the video's suggestions already. I attempted to try the CMD prompt code but repeatedly had "access denied" prompts appear saying I don't have access to a folder called modifiablewindowsapps that appeared to have no files in it. Lastly, I looked up whether Disk Drill was legit multiple times only to get many threads either calling it complete garbage or people saying the opposite but whom were clearly just trying to sell the software probably for personal gain. Very aggravating to see that there seems to be no viable option for restoring files like this.

    • @cleverfiles
      @cleverfiles  Před 2 lety +3

It is not always possible to recover lost files. Hence, you're seeing all these comments, as for some people it works, for others it doesn't work. Depending on the situation, You can always download a free version of Disk Drill and scan your drive to check if your files are recoverable. Based on those finding, you can make a decision whether to pay for a license or not.

I think my .ddwscan files are (or were) in a recoverable state, but I still haven't been able to figure out what exactly to do, knowing that there are way too many files to attempt a "preview" of each one individually. I still don't know the best operation prodedure(s). Also, I wonder whether I should use Microsoft Windows' File Explorer instead.

    • @cleverfiles
      @cleverfiles  Před 3 lety

Hi there! Sorry to hear about that. The only way to verify your files recoverability is to download Disk Drill Basic, run the scan, and preview the file(s) in question. If you managed to preview the file you needed to recover in a basic version, please email us at help@cleverfiles.com for further assistance. No preview just means that the file might be damaged or corrupt, it can be recovered, but it might need to be repaired.

Would it be better to aim for restoring the temp datas since the video files go up to 300GB and would not be possible to recover without an upgraded payed program version?
