Making lunch for my roommate (ep.3)

Cucumbers - super similar sauce to my spicy cold tofu recipe but I made it more gingery
- 1 large cucumber
- 2 green onions
- 1/2 inch ginger
- 1 tbsp chili oil (+/-)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tbsp honey / maple syrup / brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
Sabudana Khichdi (you’ll know the sabudana are cooked when they start turning a bit transparent):
- 1 cup sabudana (sago or tapioca pearls), rinsed and then soaked with 1 cup water overnight
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 sprig kadi patta (curry leaves or sweet neem leaves)
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 3 green chilies, finely chopped (+/-)
- Dried red chili (optional)
- Diced potatoes / frozen veggies / whatever you want!
- 1/2 tsp sumac
- 1/2 tsp amchur (mango powder)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
- Handful of chopped cilantro

Not me over here obsessed that she wiped down the pan and kept cooking with it.. I swear everyone thinks I'm crazy for wiping minute amounts of oil off a nonstick pan before sauteeing a second thing in the pan!! Thank you for making me feel less crazy. It's not like there's sticky grime, or I'm leaving it unwashed for days.
Why bother unless you plan to use 2 different types of oil?
I plan my meals according to what oil or flavor I know will be left over from me giving it a cursory glance and swipe

Where can I find girlfriend like you? Once I made pancakes for my friend who was on her period, she just did what she always did: watched tiktoks on sofa and messaged with her other, better friends, and laughing at their messages. Never did nice things for me, and when I was sick and afraid she dumped me out in -20°C winter, said I couldn't stay for night. That also didn't happen just once. And defenetly isn't only thing like that she did. And the pancakes wasn't only kind thing I did for her, I was always there for her for over 7 years. Now I'm here just for myself and she is stalking me, and tries to get me back.

You soak sabudana overnight? In our home it's like an hour or two Max before cooking! Does that influence how gluggy/mushy it turns out? Love your channel btw, always a delight when your shorts pop up while randomly surfing!
Large grain sabudana need to soak overnight .Then it becomes soft.

Growing up, I remember always asking my mom or dad “can you make is soupy?” As they’d make maggie for me. It was so delicious that I would eat it every day. My parents would add the Maggie + packet, extra water (for the soupy), lima beans, panner, and egg. Try it!
