So I just found out that if Karkat wouldn't be born with the mutation he would be a Limeblood (Hussie States it), that blood type is extinct on Alternia, and Limebloods went extinct because they calmed subjuggulators ( they never want to be calm ) and were hunted and killed... that might have to do something with why the text Karkat had was lime colored... but i also found out that the Sopor Slime is old quagulated Limeblood.... this was a shocking and mindblowing find for me and it makes sense aswell... i just wanted to share what i found...

A little detail that I noticed.
Karkat's shooshpapping text is only lime when he paps Gamzee and Terezi, but not Kanaya
If you split the castes of trolls into 6 lowblood and 6 highblood, Kanaya will be the highest lowblood and Terezi will be the lowest highblood. It means that limes' power to calm down only works starting from teal up.

I keep replaying this because it's just so beautifully adorable. Despite Gamzee killing his friends brutally and rampaging, Karkat still didn't fight him and even managed to calm him down. Their morail friendship really shines through here.
Its a shame gamzee pretty much undergoes character assasination after this.

Guys, don't you think that Karkat speaking in lime green is pretty important? Cancer is between Leo and Gemini. Nepeta's blood is olive green and Sollux's is yellow. Lime would be in between the two. This would mean Karkat was supposed to be a lime blood

Lance Green I never said it was canon. It's just a theory. I'm well aware lime bloods are supposed to be extinct, but it remains as a possibility that the only line of lime bloods left are mutant.
Also, I'm not all that new to Homestuck. I started reading it almost a year ago finished it just after the last page was released. I knew about it even another year before. I wouldn't really consider that new.
But why create a theory about something that's been proven wrong and proven to be something else?
It was never explicitly stated (unless I missed something) that Karkat was in fact not a mutant limeblood. Yes, the cancer sign was supposed to go to mutants. Karkat is a mutant, therefore having the cancer sign. If he was a mutant limeblood, he would STILL be given the sign because he is a mutant.
Also, I kinda just piece things together in my head as I read things, I don't try to make theories.
Another thing - don't say I'm being arrogant and that I WANT Karkat to be a limeblood, because all I'm saying is that it remains a POSSIBILITY for Karkat to be a mutant limeblood, not that he really is one -. I'm not trying to force it down your throat, as you are trying to do to me. It's only a theory and you can either agree or disagree. You can't, however, make me say "well oh fuck someone said it's not true so it totally isn't."
But it IS explicitly stated that he is a cherry blood or more commonly known as RED BLOODED. That's a mutant color too in troll society

I just made the most inhuman noise when Karkat hugged Gamzee
At first I thought Karkat was just an angry kid who likes shouting and insults.
Later, when he is shown worrying about his friends, I knew he is a nice person deep down.
And now this, the way he pacifies Gamzee, makes me really appreciate Karkat as a person.
So I was watching the homestuck CZcams series when gamzee was murdering people. It was 12 in the morning I'm wearing headphones. My dad comes I'm without me knowing and yells at me because I can't hear him through the headphones. In doing so he scares me half to death (twice mind you). So I scream at the top of my lungs HOOOOOONNNNK!!!!!

II just noticed right now, but if you look at the "ancestors", you can see that all the followers of the teachings of the Martyr have halos.
The purpose of Moirallegiance is for trolls to keep each others' violent tendencies in check. For example: Karkat and Gamzee are Moirails because Karkat stopped Gamzee's killing spree. Eridan and Feferi used to moirails because Feferi kept Eridan's homicidal tendencies in check. In addition to keeping each other in check, the quadrant is also like a "best friend" quadrant.
That made me unusually happy.

I think this is the moment I fell in love with homestuck haha. I walked in in my sisters watching this scene and wanted to know what was happening so I started reading it.
3 hours ago, my mind snapped and I lost my mind. I don't remember much to what happened. All I remember was my fiancèe laying on me, crying. Whatever happened, scared her shitless and did the same to me. So I'm guessing I pulled a Gamzee and lost my shit. But she calmed me down. Apparently it last about 30 or 45 minutes.
To answer your questions, yes I do have some mental problems, I don't know what though. I go see a doc in a few days this week.

Karkat is a member of the limeblood caste, which was extinctified by the purplebloods due to their abilities being too powerful. However, he has a mutation which causes his blood to be a bright candy red instead of the typical lime.
Also what was up with Sullox having red/black feeling for Gamzee? Is that ever mentioned again? Or just for this one panel?? (I'm only half way through act 6 so...)

One of my friends obsesses over random stuff, my guy friend just talks about games, my boyfriend and I don't talk to each other but we're still together, and my other friend who's around me more just hits slaps and kicks me almost everytime we meet up. She thinks that's acceptable because I'm 'annoying' and she has an older sister in high school she does the same to, but I'm younger than both of them. She once threw her lunchbox at my face, and I had to go to the nurse's office cause of my nose. Aside from her, I'm currently being abused while nobody knows.
