So I’ve been trying for awhile to re skin a weapon. The part I’m having trouble with is where you get your files from. I’ve managed to get the .png texture but I have no idea where you get the model files from.
Google has been my friend for many of the models I've used, or going directly into the game files of another game to pull models. Usually just searching what you want like, "Master Sword weapon model, etc.
The playable character is pretty hard to take from the game. I haven't seen a way to do it yet. Though you can export NPCs that are wearing whatever you want by editing their armor and weapons. That's probably the closest you can get, atleast as far as I know
@@andreacorso8900 Go to folder parts, there search for fc_f_0000 should be the body for female young, for male, instead of _f_ is _m_ there you can find many bodies young, adult, and old, since everyone in most cases uses young, you will not have a problem to find them, you can even find meshes for hollow, use FLVER to see what body you are trying to extract, the next step is continue with steps from video, since the"face" is separated because of Face generator from game, you will find that the model will not have a face, faces are still on parts, but if you are modeling a new armor for DS3, is not necesary the face, only the model of the body, I know this because I made a mod to "remove hollow" for example if you choose the path to hollow, does not matter how many times you die, you will not see as a hollow. At the moment is only for Young female and does not have eyes (due the hollow condition) but works as intended, body looks young and that is what I wanted, I cover eyes with a mod for having the firekeeper's crown. Hey can I chat with you on discord about some stuff? I've been messing with some armor textures but I was wondering if there was an easier way to change certain parts of a piece of armor. As you know sometimes its impossible to tell what you're looking at when you see a dds file. An example would be to change the color of a specific section of a dds file.
Well, fist thing I'd do is get paint.net or something that can open dds files, it'll make life easier. Changing specific parts is just unfortunately done the way you'd think. You edit the specific part of the dds. You can find the right parts by checking the UVs in blender. You can join the servername discord and ask in the mod making help tab, or find me. Name is scrobblescrub!
@@ScrubMilk Why I can't get textures using the texture.exe file? I drag any .tpf file to the texture.exe, the program initially start, then close, but nothing appears in the directory after that. The model program for .flver works and the converted file successfully appears, but the texture program no. I also modified the compatibility settings for let him run as administrator when I drag a .tpf file into it, but still doesn't work. Any explaination/ideas of possible problem?
So using the map explorer on DLC areas I find the enemy IDs but using DS Explore I cannot find the ids refrenced. Have any idea where I could find the dlc enemies?

Quick question? Does this way of exporting models include the textures onto blender? Trying to add fire keeper to Sekiro and the way I did it didn’t import the textures I think.

I believe the souls modding wiki has an Id list if that helps. May help you find what you are looking for. I think the enemies are in the chr folder
