Finally I found a youtube channel which does real reviews instead of infomercials. Thank you.

Other reviews mention the high speed capabilities of this wing, and some others call it the tacking engine. One thing I do agree with is the immaculate quality that Ozone put in this wing. When I bought mine I noticed that right away and recognized the quality of my kites (that were always Ozone). Suggestion, try the Ozone Fusion, with your fastest foil setup, would be curious to know if you can beat your speed record! Thanks for the review.

      Hi Machiel,
In our test we couldn't find the top end speed, we both independently agreed the wing delivery a huge amount of low-end pull to get you up and flying in the lightest of breezes, but also both felt a curtain limit in the top speed.
If you compare the flux to the F-one Strike or the Duotone Slick it just is just not that free and you really need to steer it in the right direction in the tacks.
That stability is also a great thing, but it does make tacking easier.
After the test I've been told by Olivier that the bigger size were meant for low-end power and the smaller sizes have more top end speed.
So maybe the 5.0 and smaller are better for speed.
Back home after the test I looked up the Ozone website to see what they made the wing for and reading the info it just didn't match.
I even called Olivier from vandenbergsurf to see if I could use the Flux for an extra test session withe the original Ozone pump as well as the specs and the performance were so far apart.
The only variable to rule out could be the pump from another brand that we used, but we also used that same non standard pump for the F-one test and there were no abnormalities.
Unfortunately the flux wasn't available any more so no second test.
      See you on the water!!

Strange, so many of your comments are opposite of what others are saying.

      Hi @@bennis123 ,
both Olivier & I independently came to the same conclusion after testing.........
After the test I was reading about the wing on the Ozone website and it was a complete mismatch with our findings.
I contacted Olivier from vandenbergsurf.nl to see if I could test it a second time with the recommended pump (as a kind of second opinion) to see it that might have caused problems, but the wing wasn't available for testing anymore unfortunately.
I agree, it was absolutely a big surprise to see the huge difference between findings and design specs.....
      See you on the water!!!

      @@bennis123 ,
the best advice I can give you if you're considering buying the flux 5.7 is...
      TEST IT BEFORE BUYING!

@@Windsurfcoach Thanks for the reply. I'm using this wing myself. I've used it mainly in significant wind and noticed the enormous power it produces, other than that I noticed that it can aim very high into the wind, more than my other wing thats a comparable size. I've not noticed the limit in speed with me it keeps pulling like crazy. And another thing I notice (as many others mention) the easy of using in tacking. It fly's extremely stable in the wind in the neutral position doesnt need any adjustments while tacking making the move much easier. My 2 cents. You can borrow my wing if you want another try.

Hi, thanks for your review, today I tried a 5.0 and was a really good wing, I had gusty conditions, even too much for a 5 and the wing was absolutely stable! Woow, I feel that loves to go upwind easily , and pull forward very nice. How would you compare it with a duotone slick, ? Thank you

      Hi Diego,
      you are welcome.
I didn't try the Flux in 5.0 and I've been told the 5.0 is supposed to be faster compared to the 5.7 I tested as the 5.7 was made to perform best in light winds.
At Ozone they tried to give you a wing that performs well for the conditions you normally face with the chosen size.
Overall if I compare the Flux 5.7 to the Slick 6.0 I used today the Flux is more stable and pulls harder in the same windspeed but has a lower topspeed.
Personally I really like the Slick as it's so playful, light and fast but the playfulness of the Slick can also be the downside as it can be felt as nervousness.
So if you're looking for a stable wing to get going in the lightest of airs and just cruise than go for the Flux, if on the other hand you are more into transitions, freestyle and some speed go for the Slick.
Have fun and see you on the water!!
