Yea one of my friends has some land and trails nearby, and a 4 wheeler.
We are gonna get a 3rd guy with a dirt bike to join us.
My buddy kind of looked at me funny when I said I'll use my mower.
Thank you guys I really appreciate it I don't have land right now but someday I will and I'm going to be mud in through there like hell

Coulda bent a rod or popped a head gasket..could check the flywheel key....
The Hillfolk compression test of your finger over the hole in the field coulda noted a compression loss.
Might as well yank the head if the flywheel key is ok.

Pro tip- pull back on the clutch pedal, and that should tension the belt more. I found this out on mine (stock front pulley, 3" rear) and it works pretty well.

FearlessFront (Todd Christopher) i have a question about my molkt carb on my mower i was womdering if u could answer for me. so i have it installed and i have moved the c clip on the needle all the way down but it seems to be gettin to much gas ive adjusted it to where it will idle an then when u hit the gas it revs up real high and wont rev down

How can I de-wire the seat switch and the blade engage switch I'm not very good with wiring on lawn mowers, there is also the problem with getting the valves dialed in, how are they spaced, I have already retimed the valve gear for a second time because I had to clean the gasket out of the engine when it blew and make a new one.

This is a great idea considering how much atv cost to but and work on! My friend just paid $20000 for a sxs! The last four wheeler I bought was $7500, I saw two used riding mowers on Craigslist for $250!!!

What if you modified a rear engine mower? like a snapper or some shit
My first thought was, "Oh, good, he got some footage first."
Should put a hole in the hood, bring a snorkel up through with a 180 degree bend facing back down. Kept kinda low over the hood so sticks and crap wont get hung on it.
As for the engine trouble, I'm thinking crack in the block possibly? Betting you have very little compression.
what type of trans are you running? is the engine stock?
Gotta love those plastic cam shaft gears. Guaranteed it skipped a tooth or 4, especially since it was reved out when you hit the water.
did the muikuini carb help
can you seal off the motor compartment make it waterproof??

You might have bent the connecting rod. That's typically what happens when a vehicle would suck in water. There's enough compression to blow water out the hole but not enough for the engine to fire.
is it still belt driven?

I think it could be the Coil , timing, bent connecting rod, , flywheel key or maybe a seal of some type or even a vacuum leak, or not enough compression try all! See what you can find

I rolled mine upside down in a canal. My motor on my Murray has been underwater six different times. Mine just so happened to be just idling when it hit the water. That's why I got lucky. You was on the throttle that's why I blew the head gasket

I think you soaked the coil or you screwed up the rings. Still working out the bugs on mine.

greenfield mowers are probably the best in the world. Aussie made excellence! I would not use a mower that uses a cone drive though! It will slip and carry on when it becomes wet
