As somebody whoâs also an introvert, playing Minecraft definitely helps my social battery to recharge as well! Itâs so therapeutic and is a great tool to help me unwind.
Buzzy thanks so much for taking a look :) therapeutic is a great word for it. I hope youâre doing well, and that youâre finishing the school year STRONG! đ
I fully agree with you, playing minecraft alone has always brought me so much serenity. There is always something so comforting about playing minecraft or whichever other comfort games one could have, where you just get to create and be yourself!
I've done maybe 3k hours? Alone in minecraft mostly on the same world and there is something about that experience people can't understand without doing it
I used to play Minecraft alone and really enjoyed it but for about almost two years of my life in the middle of the pandamic i played Minecraft on a server with my friends everyday all day bedwars and survival and since then i can't help but feel a crippling loneliness feeling when playing single player on Minecraft
I totally understand! I think that many, many people have had that experience or similar. However I wanted to share my experience, because I think that single player can be much more than an experience that eventually brings loneliness.
Great video, ironically good to see it's not just me on my own 'lonely' self. My job involves a lot of empathy, connection l, crisis management and multiple contingency plans. Minecraft is a relief, a contrast, a less chaotic environment with spatial and cerebral redstone challenges. Not all mine rafters want to comment on every new feature or play on mass servers. Love this highlighting in a positive way the peace of it. âïž
I really related to this comment - as an elementary school teacher, it can be a lot on the life battery. Minecraft can be incredibly therapeutic. I know that this isnât the case for everyone, but that the message is important :)
I think I get what you're saying... Haven't played Minecraft in a while, but I do love the idea of "escaping" into the experience, with any game. This made me realize that I agree - being able to control your own progress is far more fulfilling than playing with certain people (in my case, it's especially when they keep switching things up, including the servers - undermining my progress đ). Either way, it's all about keeping it in moderation and making sure you ACTUALLY FEEL CONTENT when playing it. Thanks for reminding me that it's possible. đ By the way - I'd love to know which shaders / resource packs you're using, it reminds me of my fave - Nostalgia Shaders!
I think you said something really profound- itâs about moderation and feeling content with your progress/the process when youâre playing! Itâs totally possible, I really felt it important to share my experience :) itâs complimentary reimagined shaders!! Theyâre so great :)

Totally. Thereâs something beautiful to getting lost in it all :)

I couldnât have said it better myself! Thereâs something there thatâs hard to explain - you can understand it if youâve done it.
