The first day brew was tasty. My only complaint about the package is that each bag isn't labeled with at least the day number. It's difficult to then tell that bags are placed where they should be, and no human errors occurred in packaging or someone else in family didn't mix them up after receiving. My 1st day bag for "Framily" was black, but no way for me to confirm that it's correct it seems.
While the name isn't printed, they do have a guide in the FAQ on the store page with the color of each bag so you can make sure they didn't get mixed in transit.
@@SpaghettiJimmy Another helpful tip I just saw on the forum is that if you're looking at the box from the "Start here" side, the Onyx skull logo is facing right on 1-12 and left on 13-24.
Agreed. It could’ve been improved by just labeling but the color guides mostly work. A couple sections the colors are the same so even that isn’t an accurate enough. Either way, loving the advent so far and everything else about it is fabulous ❤
Absolutely agree. Onyx puts so much effort into communicating how to brew for different roasts and methods, it’s a huge disappointment they would allow that to break down at the level of packaging. The color guide might be helpful for some but for myself and other folks who are color blind, numbering the bags is really the best and simplest way to ensure we are able to brew the recipes accurately

All Advent coffees can be made following the same recipe as above. The specific grind size, brew temp, and drain time can all be found on the Advent page under that day's coffee!

We used a 5.3 for the drip machine, 5.6 for the French press, and 4 for pour over! :)
