no...I just added bands (like a neck band). i just cut them a little small then the arm hole

Thankyou so much for this video. I have a 5 yrs old great granddaughter and her chest size is 23 inches also!!!! I hear what your saying about the size 3! lol, when she actually wears a size 6 dress. I should mention also her waist is 25 inches... So the pattern I have is Simplicity S9245 #B dress. Backing up a bit....I haven't sewed since all my girls were toddlers...so everything is slowly and gradually coming back...omg...my fear is cutting the pattern out. So should I adjust the skirt part?
I really don't think you need to adjust the waist part because i those patterns it is not fitted around the waist...it just may not fit as loose on her as it would another...which is fine..it has a lot of ease..I'm glad you found this helpful...I love sewing for my daughter.
Is your little one thin and long legged? I would like to make my granddaughter some leggings but I will need to do a lot of measuring. She is also long bodied. Do you have a favorite leggings pattern?
