I don’t know why CZcams unsubscribes people from their selections. I discovered they had done this to me when the several people I watch were not showing up only to discover I had been unsubscribed! Your recipes are innovative and you share how and why insights as to how things evolved in your development which is really beneficial. If people go back into your channel they can find videos they missed or rewatch many of them again. You do such a great job Alicia, thank you!! I see that I missed several of your videos that I will be watching!!

Alicia, it's not just your channel. I'm sure the insanity happening on the planet may have people more distracted than usual, ya know? Isn't there a way to use the videos you've already shared to boast traffic while you're creating new content? I could swear I heard something like that during research I did about promoting YT vids. It wasn't long ago I had to resubscribe to a couple of channels, not yours, but I've heard other creator's mention odd things going on w/YT.
I have to search out your videos. I want to encourage you to hang in and do more recipes. But please do simple recipes not crazy hard ones. Best of luck to you!
Thanks! Problem is the keto community is saturated with easy recipes so I don't get views on things that are easy to make keto. I will throw some in here and there though!

I'm not just blowing smoke when i say your channel is THE BEST keto baking channel, hands down. Your knowledge and skills are unmatched. You deserve way more subs and views.
CZcams punished creators who aren't online 24/7 for engagement, and who don't follow trends or put out a bunch of shorts.
All they care about is more views, more clicks and ad revenue. Quantity over quality, sadly.

Hi Alicia! I’ve been with you since you started way back when! You probably don’t remember me, but I’m the one that sent you the heart ramekins for your moose and I sent you good good shipping, sugar-free jam, and even sent you sugar-free beef powder to try for your wedding cake. I just wanna let you know I want you all the time. I haven’t been unsubscribed and I watch everything. I know how hard you work for us, the baby and your husband and then everything you do. You’re always in my prayers, especially for your business. I know how hard getting a business going is because I do wreaths and centerpieces but right now I’m only doing craft shows but I’ve been doing it for a couple of years now and I know how hard it is for me to put everything. I have into what I’m doing. There’s just my husband and myself now and it’s still very difficult. My children are grown and we have six grandchildren, the youngest being 12. I tried to find time for everything but at my age, even though my brain is young, my body says something different. So I have to do things when I can, and know when enough is at the end of the day. So don’t be disheartened everything will work out eventually. Take good care of yourself your little guy. And your husband and everything will definitely fall into place. It took God six days to create the world and everything in it but on the sixth day, he rested. Something we all have to learn to do, especially when we work hard for six days in a row. We should make sure we are subscribed and use the "all" option for the bell. Also, I have a trick: When I go into the shower I let a video play that I like and have watched a couple of times. That will count as a view. If it is popular to me, maybe it will show up on other people's YT suggested vids. Popularity builds popularity on YT.
I really appreciate that. I sometimes let my videos play when I am making a recipe I need to refer back to. I should do it more often I just hate hearing myself all the time when I already have to edit and shoot every week also! LOL

I'm a retired chef. I've been living the keto, intermittent fasting lifestyle for 4 years. I love seeing a fellow female culinary professional tackling the low carb conversion of classic recipes.
Awesome! I too have been keto for 4 years. I wish I had a way to reach more people in the profession because I feel like we all need to take better care of ourselves. We always work so hard to make delicious food for others we often don't take the time for ourselves. But keto, low carb was relatively as easy transition working in a kitchen as long as I had my treats I would bring in for myself, lol. Hope you enjoy my recipes!

I haven't seen you in a while and I wasn't unsubscribed but I've been busy with other things and I think that may have messed up my own algorithm. One of the last ones I saw was when y'all tried to go camping with the baby 😅. I'll keep an eye out for you 🥰
And, to be honest, more complicated recipes are probably not gonna be your money maker. The costs of ingredients has gone up for everything and life has just generally gotten more difficult. A balance between time, cost, and palatable for ordinary people would be better. And it would cost you less too. We're an instant gratification society! I'm sure you've noticed that the longer the video, the fewer people finish it.

But she's sa baker by trade. She sells beautiful stuff. But I do get your point. She probably would get more views. But this is her passion.
By harder I meant bread, pasta, pizza etc. That one bread video I first put up has made me the most money out of all my videos. But i get what you are saying people like the 2 ingredient fast recipes also, that just isn't me. I may put some easier videos up but they probably won't get the views because CZcams is so saturated with easy recipes.

Yes, you're right about CZcams.They pick and choose who they're going to notify you about, I have seen I've been randomly unsubscribed from some people I watch regularly and yet creators I haven't watched in many, many years are still subscribed. So, there's no rhyme or reason what CZcams's up to.
But they should allow the users more control and if you have notifications on then you should get notifications for everything and never be unsubscribed..
I haven't been notified of that many of your videos lately but I'm definitely going to go back through your channel, because I love your channel and your great recipes, and anything I can do to support you count me in❤

I have followed a few people who are successful or at least claimed to be successful. I wonder if one video a week is going to be sufficient and I love your recipes. I made a few simple ones. Some of them are so precise that they scare me off a little bit. I don’t know if simplifying would help. But your recipes are awesome. I will watch every single one I can find. However, I did miss all of the ones with your child so I’m going to go back and look for them.
Well last year I killed myself putting up 2 or 3 a week and got hardly any views at all so I don't know🤷♀️
Thing is people want the stuff that isn't easy to make keto like breads and pasta. I make easy recipes and get hardly any views because others have already done them and there are so many of those recipes out there already. I don't really know the answer either, can only keep on posting yummy recipes, lol.

Don't give up, think that having so many subscribers is already a win. I think that also how you name your videos impacts the algorithm, may be try using some key words. And start adding shorts, they are very popular, just make cuts of your videos and upload the shorts. Van is adorable because he has a great mother and father

I've been carnivore for a year now and don't watch your cooking videos as they are very tempting and I can't afford to go off plan. You're not the first youtube channel that I've heard say their numbers are down and that they aren't getting as many views. Maybe they changed something somewhere. Don't feel discouraged about the weight loss. I started Keto in Mid November and have only lost 15 lbs., really discouraging as my husband dropped weight super quick. It's definitely a battle. Love your recipes.
Men lose more weight than women. Just keep plugging along.

CZcams is finicky, but I'm still subscribed. What I have found is that I see more videos in my feed related to something I've watched recently than from my subscriptions. This means if I missed an upload it might be pushed further down my list (and I have to search for it).

My kids informed me that they cannot eat anything with sugar substitute, so I have become very disheartened and have almost given up trying. I will be sticking to one-dish desserts like personal mug cakes, individual things.....thank you for teaching me pizzelles, it was fun to make, and I do love the chocolate anything, lol.
