James Forrest's rifled volley found the back of the net to open the scoring for the Hoops. Forrest again popped up with a composed finish putting the league leaders 2 up in the 2nd half. Dundee pulled one back from an Idah own goal but the Hoops saw the game out to take 3 points home.
Celtic return to Parkhead next weekend against Hearts.

At the end of the day the win is what matters most but there needs to be a massive clear out in the summer, thereâs too many players in this squad that just arenât good enough

Irrespective of what happens rest of year we need at least 1 keeper, a centre half, probably 2, left back, 2 midfielders as MOR will be gone, 2 wingers and another centre forward as Idah on loan and he's not that good.
Last summer's transfer window will go down as 1 of the worst ever, on a par with Ajeti, Barkas, Duffy, that Everton full back, etc

Thank fuck for the result, but we are shite. On any other day we would have dropped or lost all points. McGregor looks a shadow of the player we know he is, granted it may be the injury, Khun, Kyogo, Hatate and OâRiley, absolutely rotten. Thankful for the points, but for periods of the game we were awful. Fair play to Dundee, they deserve a lot of credit and their manager has done a great job.

Cant expect technical players like O,Riley, Hatate and McGregor to perform to their best on a coo field ! We will get it on again in the remaining fixtures at home.

James Forrest .. the quiet man , no one has contributed more to the Celtic cause over the last 14 years or so important to us he has been a match winner so often throughout his career .. was totally written off as done last year .. think supporters just donât comprehend when you have had lasting injury problems it can sometimes be many months before you are back to your best we are far too quick to write people off as finished.

Forrest definitly came through for us today, to bad he can only last 60 min's . In these tight games where points are crucial I would like to see somebody on the back post on corners. I know khun didn't play well today but he has shown some nice touches. I think we should stay with him.

Glad to get the three points and delighted for James Forrest but it says a lot about our strikers who are not firing at all. The second half was poor again and it's backs against the wall football. Definitely need a clear out in the summer and hopefully get some players in with a bit of quality.

I don't get the comments about Forrest? He is 32 not 42. Most players these days are able to play to 35 at least. I don't remember Scott Brown's fitness being questioned at that stage?
CalMac is playing through injury and is heading to the operating table. I doubt we'll see him on the park after the rangers game. He certainly can't go it Germany in the summer if he's to start the season with celtic next year.
Missed opportunity to improve the goal difference today, Kyogo wasn't his usual self, nothing lost and nothing gained we're still in the driving seat.
Mainly disappointed with the performance as we didn't look like a team trying to win a league. Really expected a high intensity performance pressing them with a desire to win the ball back, get forward and create loads of chances but basically none of that. Feel like somehow managing to scramble 3 points was the only positive. We have been gifted a great chance by them after they unexpectedly dropped points but we need to do much better in the remaining games.
Bit harsh on Khun, done ok. AJ was overloading and bringing him that extra man to beat. He needs to just leave him 1 on 1. He was getting joy there.
Forrest is class, always has been. Think we will be fine. Just need to take it a game at a time.
