Relating to videos being on the net and cops being able to use it, it makes it easier for them as it gives them direction, it would also confirm info they already had all of that, assuming they looking for the specific crime is the tip of the iceberg, anything in a video can give them leads or confirm possible motives( ofcourse they have to verify and a video aint enough)
