CROCHET TUTORIAL: WORK BEGINNING WITH TOP DOWN

Hello, dear followers!
If you start working flat on a detail that is going to be crocheted in the round later, I'm sure that you'll find this video very useful. I personally use this method frequently working on my bags and find it very helpful. In this video I show how to save a stitch chain at the beginning to use it later, crocheting the detail in the round with, for example, single crochet stitches or in other ways.
Start your work as usual, i.e. with a first stitch and a chain of single crochet stitches. To save the stitch chain for future crocheting in the round, twist the chain in the way to have stitch tops down and start to work the first row in single crochet stitches, working through horizontal treads of the previous row (as in the video). Continue to work in single crochet stitches as much as you need. At the end you will have a stitch chain either at the end or at the beginning of your work and can easily continue your work in the round.
