Instructions: Ch = chain Sc = single crochet Dc = double crochet Foundation and Row 1: 1. Ch in groups of 6 until desired length, then ch 1 extra at the end. 2. Turn your work and sc into each loop. After completing the last sc, ch 3. Row 2: 3. Turn your work. Skip 2 loops, and dc into the 3rd loop. Ch 2 then dc again into the same loop. You should have a small V shape. 4. Skip 2 loops again, and dc into the 3rd loop. Ch 2 and do another dc into the same space. Repeat this all the way down your row. 5. In your last loop, you should have your final V shape. Ch 3 and then turn your work. Row 3: 6. Into the large space in between your V legs, dc 2 stitches. Your ch 3 counts as a dc in this space, so you should have a total of 3 dc stitches. 7. Insert your hook into that same space and bring it out on the other side of that first v shape. Dc 1. (This is a front post dc stitch) 8. Skip the next V shape, and do a front post dc into the right half of the third V shape. 9. Dc 5 stitches into the large space between your V legs. 10. Complete this section by doing another front post dc around the left leg of your V shape. 11. Repeat steps 8-10 all the way down your row. Your sections should look like little shells. 12. At the end of the row, do one last front post dc around the left leg of the last full V shape. 13. Into the large space before the final stitch, dc 2. 14. Complete this row by inserting your hook into the last loop of the row, and dc 1. This should be a group of 3 dc stitches, just like the beginning of the row. Ch 3 then turn your work. Row 4: 15. Dc 1 into the first loop. 16. Into the space between the last 2 shells (the second one is a partial shell), dc 1, ch 2 and then dc 1 again in the same space. (It should make a V). 17. Skip 3 loops, then insert your hook into the 4th loop. Dc 1, ch 2 and dc 1 again all in the same space. This should be the top of the shell. 18. Into the next space between 2 full shells: dc 1, ch 2, dc 1. You are making your V shapes again. Repeat steps 17-18 all the way down your row, alternating between tops of shells, and the spaces between them. 19. At the end of your row, the last V shape should be done into the last loop of the row. Ch 3. Row 5: 20. Turn your work. Skip the first V shape, then do 1 front post dc around the right leg of the second V. 21. Repeat steps 8-10 from the Row 3 section all the way down your row. 22. At the end of your row, dc 1 into the last loop of the row. Ch 3. Row 6: 23. Turn your work, and repeat the steps from the Row 3 section. Make sure the first 2 dc are done into the larger space between the shell and final dc stitch from the previous row that you just finished. 24. Repeat steps 17-18 from the Row 4 section. Continue alternating to your desired length, or use Rows 1-3 as a nice border. Hope these instructions in combination with the video help you! Happy crocheting 😊

Thank you very much for writing what you know and shedding light for other viewers 🌺🌺🌺
She is very tricky! At the end of Row 4 - 19. The last V shape contains only 1 CH and not the Normal 2 CH. After Row 2 the last V Shape is always 1 CH! Row 2 is the exception! After getting far into the project I didn't like the one side. After going back to the video, I noticed this suttle difference. Redid the project and the end looks much better!
Very lovely stitching ❤️. This would make a beautiful edging as well as an elegant baby blanket or afghan. My grandma used a stitch like this to make lace table runners many years ago. She made incredibly detailed lacework which took her months to years to make each piece. Family members feel incredibly honored to have her work passed down to them over the years. It’s priceless to us ❤

I had the same thought myself. I think it would add a nice touch to almost any hand crafted crochet, maybe even to knitted sweater. Possibly elegant crocheted shawl.
Could someone explain the steps. When I get to the row with the shells (row 3 I think) I get confused. I know there are five doubles but I’m not getting the steps before and after. This is so beautiful! Thanks so much!
When you do the last v stitch in the row, it looks like your only doing one chain between it. Is that correct? I’ve watched several times and I see only one chain in that last stitch.

Crochet any number of chains to accommodate your desired length or width as long as that numer can be evenly divided by 6 and then add 1 additional chain. In other words, multiples of 6 plus 1 additional chain.
CZcamsrs like this are not concerned with teaching us a nice stitch it's a distraction it keeps you coming back because you keep hitting the replay replay replay they get paid for every time you watch that

Sc = single crochet
Dc = double crochet

Row 3:
6. Into the large space in between your V legs, dc 2 stitches. Your ch 3 counts as a dc in this space, so you should have a total of 3 dc stitches.

It would have better with talking
Also it is so small very hard to see .

Yes 🙌🏻 agreed. A written pattern would be nice too.
❤
Oh, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE a WRITTEN PATTERN, AVAILABLE, ENGLISH.
I’m making this beautiful blanket, but can’t keep me one edge straight. Is it every alternative row that the fan row starts with Dc 3?
The stitch is beautiful..n I love the music soft n mellow..you need to slow down ..words would b better too.❤
You always do such nice work. It's perfect always pretty and elegant.
Destekleriniz için çok teşekkür ederim
Could someone explain the steps. When I get to the row with the shells (row 3 I think) I get confused. I know there are five doubles but I’m not getting the steps before and after. This is so beautiful! Thanks so much!
How to increase in sleave part this design
This can easily be used as a border right?
Is there a written pattern for this stitch?

Siz kendi istediğiniz genişlikte yapabilirsiniz ☺️ ilmek katları talimatlar verilmiş ona göre siz yapın

Better with talking, goes yoo fast
How many chain please
Teşekkür ederim 🤩 saygılar ve sevgiler gönderiyorum size
Yo ví un anillo por eso reproduje el vídeo. Y sale otra cosa 😮😢
My work is not straight like yours. Any tips?
Please please please slow down on your tutorials 😢your designs are really lovely but so hard to keep up with you.....words would be lovely too 😊
Look for the little gear icon, and click it. There may be a setting for "playback speed".
When you do the last v stitch in the row, it looks like your only doing one chain between it. Is that correct? I’ve watched several times and I see only one chain in that last stitch.
What is the name of this stitch
Teşekkürler 🙏
Is there audio with this
Üzgünüm ses kaydı yok
Beautiful pattern ❤ Do you have written instructions anywhere? Thank you
Where can you find the written pattern?
Merhabalar . Yazılı desen elimde mevcut değil. Video dikkatli izleyin yapabilirsiniz . Saygılar ve sevgiler gönderiyorum. Yazılı talimatlar video içinde verilmiş
Can this be done with English talk please
I'm a lefty and this is so hard and you are going so fast ... wish you were talking us through the stitches 😢
I would like this if there was some talking or instructions on the stitches, not music
Mee too
What is the name of this stitch? I am crocheting a baby blanket for my new granddaughter coming in August.
I need help I paid 84.00 so I can download and print patterns but every time I try to download it ask me to subscribe and pay again. What am I doing wrong?😢
Yes and in English please!!!!!!
Not American. No SC etc etc etc
When you turn down the video speed, you'll have to mute music. Strange music playing then 😅
Can someone please tell me what the 5 stars mean 6+6+6+6*****1 I’m new at this 😮
Multiple of 6, plus one more chain. So a small blanket might be 90 chains, plus one more chain
Crochet any number of chains to accommodate your desired length or width as long as that numer can be evenly divided by 6 and then add 1 additional chain. In other words, multiples of 6 plus 1 additional chain.
This is definitely not for beginners. 😂
It absolutely is.
Too hard to follow 😢
Would be much better with words! I don't enjoy the music.
Agreed
It is a pretty pattern, except talking would be nice or instructions written across the top.
I don't care for the music, I'm watching a video to learn a new stich..........I'll listen to music later, I wanna know what I'm doing here. 😠😠😠😠
