Eagle Mountain

6.8 squishy miles on the lovely trails in Eagle Mountain Park and around Eagle Mountain Lake, just north of Fort Worth, Texas. With trails that are mostly soft and sandy, this would be a wonderful spot for barefooting on a dry summer day, and as nice a spot for beginners as I can imagine. Even on a cool (low 40s) and wet day, it was a fun hike
